lee jeno went into work that day feeling gloomy. he had worked in one of the popular hotels in seoul. in fact, he was working three jobs at once because his family needed the support.
he hated this job. all the employee's of the hotel wouldn't help at all, and most of them just slept in the lobby rather than answer the bells. which is what jeno would have to do.
but, today- everyone seemed to be gossiping. jeno didn't listen to them because he thought it to be distracting and quite annoying. although, he didn't expect everyone to stand up when the chef came out to serve one of the many orders that day.
jeno found this odd. he decided to stay back and watch literally ten of the bellhop's went over to him and demanded they take the plate to the vip room on the top floor.
those rooms hardly filled up, but jeno was curious as to who was actually staying up there. it was most likely someone who was very famous or rich.
" hey! lee jeno! why don't you deliver this for me! " the voice shouted from the crowd of employee's. jeno's eyes widen, but he also groaned out of laziness. he stood up, taking the platter from his hands and stepping into the staff elevator.
luckily, since most of the employee's here did next to nothing, he was alone. he tuned out the classic elevator music, and rather watched the floor numbers appear on top of the door.
stepping out into the hallway that would normally seem quite outstanding to most people- he knocked on the wooden door.
" who is it?! " a voice almost screamed from inside, and he heard some clatters from what he assumed to be the bathroom.
" room service! " jeno had followed, trying to place who owned that familiar voice behind the door.
" oh, thank god- i thought they'd forgotten about- " as soon as the door opened, both of them froze to their spots. they said each other's names simultaneously, and jeno quickly handed him the food before running away down the hall.
he didn't hear his old friend calling his name before he disappeared down the elevator.
