after an exhausting day
of running around doing
errands- as well as hiding
from renjun and all of the
recording team- jeno
almost passed out when he
walked into his house.his mother was cooking
something in the kitchen,
and he called out a greeting
to her before closing the door
to his room.he slid down the bed frame
onto his blankets, and gave
a heavy sigh. he should just
tell donghyuck that he's sick
and can't go. he really didn't
want to see the older boy.a cold breeze fluttered around
the room. he must've forgotten
to close the window again. jeno
stood up, and locked it- before
picking up some of the things
that'd been blown off the
window sill.hesitating on picking up a
now smashed picture frame,
jeno had flipped it over, and
started scooping up the glass
from the floor.he payed no attention to
the sliced up photograph
of him and renjun that
had made its way under
his bed. he simply finished
scooping up the glass, and
placed the empty frame
face down on the sill.jeno couldn't care less about
what had been in that frame,
he was too busy stressing out
about the concert tomorrow
night. he thought it was a
waste. the pass renjun had
given him was hanging on
the wall by his dresser.it seemed to be taunting him
through the dim light. jeno
found it unsettling. he had
gone from hearing renjun
sing all of the time in their
bedrooms, to paying to see
him perform in a big venue.renjun really did have his
dreams come true, while
jeno was stuck thriving in
what seemed like an endless
puddle of mud.he pulled the covers over his
head. maybe some sleep could
help brush off the unsettled
feeling he was getting.
