Quirks and creatures. A world where both joined side by side. These creatures were around since the begining of time while quirks only appeared the past five decades. These creatures were given a name back in the 1980's that people agreed on, Pokemon. New pokemon were still being discovered and still full of mystery, like quirks despite the fact 80% of the world had them.
Izuku Midoriya, a 12 years old boy who was quirkless. One of the 20% of the worlds population unfortunate to not have this genetic trait . And to not own a partner, while everyone else he knew had at least two or six. Picked on because of something he lacked of, a typical day in the life of him.
Thinking to himself, when will this day end? Fortunate for him, the final bell rang, signaling the end of another school day for everyone.
Other students ran out, escaping the prison known as school, others waited for friends to hang out with after class, some even stayed to study and play sports. Izuku just took his time and walked his way past others, often ignoring some of the harsh comments or whispers from others he hears and walked to the only place he found peace in, by the riverbank, underneath the old bridge that no one used anymore.
Sitting down and putting his bag beside him and taking out an empty Pokeball and tossed it in his hands staring at the underside of the bridge as he sat down. Letting out a tired sigh."What's the point in trying anymore? Maybe I should give up on being a trainer, much less a hero. What good can a quirkless guy like me can achieve in this era?" Izuku asked himself as the ball fell flat on his hands and was clentched.
"Maybe I should...just give it up!" Izuku yelled as he threw the ball hard at the woods leading from the bank as it hit a tree. A cry was heard as Izuku got up and took his bag while heading to the woods. Izuku continued deeper and deeper till he found his Pokeball on the base of a tree. "So this is where it landed, but what was that cry just now?" Izuku said as he heard a rustling in the bushes nearby and got ready to run. "W-who's there?" Izuku asked as the rustling came closer and closer.
And just after he said that, a strange, white creature came out of the bushes, with berries in his/her arms. This creature was strange, it was almost his height, his/her body was mechanical with a strange...dress? And his/her head that resemble a gear with rabbit ears, his/her eyes were big and red with pink iris and a white cross in them, last but not least his/her thin forearms ending in broad claw-shaped arms and pointed hands.
"H-hey there. Sorry for scaring you, I was only angry at something" Izuku said while the creature seemed to observe him, then she (he assumed it was female) moved one arm at him, like she was asking him to follow her "You want me to follow you?" Asked Izuku and the creature nodded, so he followed her deep in the forest.
After a little bit of walking they arrived at a small clearing, and what Izuku saw made him sad. There was a little like jackall pokemon, it was white and black and it was covered in bruises, so Izuku ran towards him.

The little pokemon opened his red eyes and, seeing the human, was afraid, Izuku noticed this and said "Please don't move, I only want to help you". The small pokemon watched towards the other creature and, after she nodded, he agreed.
Then Izuku took, from his backpack, bandages and some hyper potions, the pokemon winced a little while Izuku was treating him, but in the end he relaxed. After that Izuku took a seat finishing to bend the pokemon, After finishing the bandages he heard "Thank you", his eyes widened and watched at the little pokemon "Y-You can talk!?" "No, I'm using aura to communicate with you" Izuku then gasped "You can use aura?" "Yes, and again thank you, I saw your pure aura and I thougth that you could help me" "Thank you" Izuku said "But what were you doing here?" while watching the two pokemon, then the little one sighed and explained "I am a riolu, me and magearna-" he said while pointing at the other pokemon "- where on a ship because some humans captured us, me for my rarity, her because she was a mysterious pokemon. But then the ship had an accident, it sank and we escaped. I was bruised and Magearna took me here, then she went to search for berries and after that you came here".
Izuku now stared at them with a smile "I am happy that you escaped and I am happy to have helped you, but now I have to go, I'm sorry". Both the pokemon stared at him in shock, this human had the opportunity to capture two powerful pokemon, but he didn't. After the two watched each other and nodded, Magearna took riolu and both walked to the boy. Izuku stared at him confused, but then "Would you like that we become your pokemon?" Riolu asked.
Izuku didn't know what to say "A-are you sure you want to go with someone like me, there are some better trainers out there", "But they haven't the same aura as you, you will be a great aura guardian one day if you choose that path"
Izuku then "O-okay" he said while holding two pokeball for them, they tapped the pokeball and they were sucked in letting out a DING as they didn't fight the capture."I-I caught them. I caught my very first Pokemon!" He cheered as he held them up in the air in joy. His Pokedex buzzed as he held them in one hand and looked at it. [Scanning...Scanning...Data Complete on Pokemon captured.], then the pokedex showed him an immage of the two pokemon [Riolu-the Emanation Pokemon. Riolu has the power to see and understand emotions like happiness and anger in aura waves, When sad or scared, Riolu's becomes stronger as a way of signaling its allies. Please be aware the the different color of this pokemon means that this pokemon can be classified as shiny, that means that he can be from 2.5 to 4.5 times stronger than a normal pokemon]
Izuku's jaw than hit the earth," what did I just catch?!" Recovered from the shock then tapped the other photo and said [Magearna-the artificial pokemon-This artificial Pokémon, constructed more than 500 years ago, can understand human speech but cannot itself speak, his mechanized body is merely a vessel, his true self is it's Soul-Heart, an artificial soul.] This surprised him more than that he had caught a shiny pokemon.
Then he decided that he would have a good look at his pokemon at home, so he rabbed his backpack and made his way towards home, with a smile on his face.
