I wanna be the very best

Mewtwo strikes back! (part 1)

We find our hero resting on the beach for a day of total rest. The exam was yesterday and, since Lillie had to return to Alola and his pokemon are probably a little tired, he decided to take the day off.

I mean, now the beach is beautiful and there are even some more people who are enjoing the sea.

So, here he is, laying on the sand while his pokemon are doing stuff on their own...almost all of them.

1) Chandelure and Greeninja are arguing.

2) Gengar is playing tricks to them.

3) Darkrai is facepalming

4) Frosslas is trying to freeze Gengar to make him stop.

5) Blaziken is trying to make Frosslas not freeze Gengar

6) Darkrai is facepalming

7) Gardevoir is trying to make everyone calm down, but with little success

8) Gallade is helping her

9) Lucario is keeping an eye on the others (Who are playing)

10) DARKRAI IS STILL FACEPALMING! (Stop being useless and go to help you depressed EMO!)

But anyway they are having fun, and Izuku finally thinks he will be able to have a normal day for once.

Ohhhhh how wrong he was.

Suddently there was a noise, like flapping wings, it was strong so they stopped what they where doing to look at the direction from where this noise was coming from. They saw a Dragonite who was flying towards them, so they instantly went to a battle stance but Izuku told them to calm down because he could sense that the pokemon did't want to fight.

The Dragonite arrived and stopped in front of them, looked towards Izuku, nodded and, from his bag, took and envelope which he passed to Izuku 'It can't be UA, can it?' he took the envelope and saw that it wasn't from UA. That left him relived but also curious, who could send him a letter?

He opened it and saw it was a strange card with a pokeball symbol in the middle, then an hologram of a woman, that resembled nurse joy except for her clothes, appeared, she bowed and began talking "Greetings pokemon trainer, I bear an invitation, you have been chosen to join a select group of pokemon trainers at a special gathering. It will be hosted by my master, the world's greatest pokemon trainer at his palace on New Island." She disappeared to show us a map "A ferry will leave this afternoon from the Old Shore port to take you to the island, only trainers who present this invitation shall be admitted. If you decide to attend you must decide at once." A piece of paper fell from the envelope with a Yes and a No as her hologram reappeared "My master awaits you" she then bowed and the hologram disappeared.

They stayed there for a minute, then Izuku looked towards his friends and asked "What do you think?" "I don't know" replied Lucario "This is strange, I have never heard of New Island before." "Her mind was clouded" said Gardevoir "It was like she was being controlled by someone or something." "I say we go" said Blaziken "Even if I don't like this one bit, it could be some criminal organization." She growled "In that case we need to stop them." 'Blaziken is right, it could be dangerous for us but even for the other who received this letter' thought Izuku. In the end he took the piece of paper, made a sign on Yes and gave it back to Dragonite who bowed in thanks and left. Izuku then looked towards his pokemon and said "Please go home and say to my mom and AZ that I will have to go somewhere, and please take my uniform and my staff, I need to call someone." they then left and Izuku took out his phone and dialed a number. After a little someone answered "Hey Izuku! is good to hear you!" said a joyful voice "Hi Riley, I am calling because I need something" he said seriously "I need to know if there is something strange going on in Kanto".

Riley had heard a serious Izuku only a couple of times, and it didn't end well "Yes, since last week we felt a strange power coming from an Island near Old Shore, but we hadn't put much thought into it, but right 30 minutes ago that energy skyrocketed and now is forming a storm near there" Izuku raised both his eyebrows then frowned 'So there is really something going on there' "Ok Riley, thanks" Izuku said "If you are going to go there try to stay alive, otherwise when you come back I will kill you, bye!" Riley said then hang up.

Izuku then put his phone back into his pocket just as his pokemon returned "Your mom said to call her once you are done" said Victini, Izuku nodded and proceded to put on his outfit, took his staff, and returned eveyone but one.

"Gardevoir could you please teleport us to Old Shore" he asked "I can teleport us near there, but there... no, there is something that is not allowing me to teleport there" she answered sadly, Izuku then "Hey, it's okay, don't worry" she then calmed down and they teleported.

-Timeskip, Old Shore, a couple of minutes later-

Izuku now sat in the building in the port of Old Shore, instantly after he arrived he felt that this storm was created by psychic power, but for now he could do nothing, he returned Gardevoir to her pokeball and made to exit the building to see the situation, when he saw that at the exit there were two people: the first was agent Jenny who was saying that the ferry was cancelled. Many people were upset at this but the second woman told of an ancient legend about the pokemon tears and the storm.

Then one guy said that he could go because he had a water pokemon and the others followed him saying that they had water or flying pokemon and they could go. jenny tried to stop them saying that if their pokemon got hurt no one could heal them cause they had to close the pokemon center for the absence of Nurse Joy.

But they didn't care, they ran for the shore and Izuku made to follow them. He was about to exit when the second woman caught his arm and said, with a strange accent, "I sense a great power within you, please try to help them" Izuku nodded and when ahead of eveyone.

He put his staff forward and it began to glow, making the others stop to see what was happening, he began to chant

"Oh lord of the depths, please hear my call, lend me your power to help the others and not make them suffer."

As he was chanting the blue stone on his staff began to glow and it seemed that the storm was getting worse

"I call forth you Kyogre!"

And then with a thunder there was a wave, bigger than the others who was going towards them, inside of it two yellow eyes glowing and coming towards them, some escaped in fear, but the others remained.

When the wave was near enough it divided and the crowd saw something that they thought they would never see. They saw Kyogre, the king of the sea, it's yellow eyes shining, and with a loud cry of his name the storm power lessened a little, enought for them to go without problems.

Kyogre then went near the shore and Izuku went forward, they smiled at each other "It is good to see you, master" Kyogre said, Izuku pouted "I told you to call me Izuku, I am your friend not your master" Kyogre then chuckled and said "Well hop on, I will carry you on the Island" Izuku then smiled and went on Kyogre, he turned to the crowd, who was still with their jaws on the floor(Well...they just saw a legendary, it's normal) and said, "Well? What are you waiting for?" So they regained themselfs and started to let out their pokemon who, at first, where intimidated and a little scared of the legendary, but they calmed and started to go throught the storm.

Destination: New Island.

Sorry for the delay but I had a mix of: Writer's block and ideas for other two fanfiction so, sorry.

In the next days, hopefully, I will have less distraction so I will try to write more.
