Annabeth Chase Future Queen of Athens

Annabeth's P.O.V:
~1 week later~
I sat in my bed just waking up from a well needed sleep, I rubbed my eyes, threw back the covers and shuffled towards my glass french doors . I opened them and was welcomed by a great view of the city.
    The white buildings with brown accents and roofs, the paved streets shaded by olive trees that lined the side opposite of the shops and restaurants. Some walls held art mainly in vivid colors and shades of all sorts. The vast ocean spread out on the horizon, with the tinted sunrise behind it, of pinks and oranges.
    I sighed and stepped out onto my balcony, leaning against the wooded railing as I looked over the town I call home. Then the cool air from the ocean brushed against my face, when I realized I was just in black spandex and a baggy white tee shirt with the word 'Greece' on it.
    I shivered slightly but enjoyed it as the ocean breeze hit my face, the sound of the lively town hit my ears. There was talking, singing, dancing and occasionally some artists. Gods how I missed this.
   I turned back into my room, toward my night stand and plugged my phone into my light blue Altec Lansing speaker, these walls where incredibly thick, so nobody would wake up.  I turned on my favorite playlist, grabbed the phone and speaker and headed back onto the balcony, my feet dangling through one of the wooden openings.
     I was calmly looking at the view when I heard someone shuffle and sit down next to me. I turned and saw it was Alexis she was also wearing black spandex and a white  shirt that said 'Athens'. She turned to look at me, we both had our curly hair down , just hers was brown.
     Her gray eyes meet my gray ones "good morning sis" she said reaching for a hug, which I accepted "morning Lexi" I said and we sat there for what seemed like eternity just in each other's embrace.
    I watched the sun start to peek up from behind the ocean, we moved our position so her head was laying in my shoulder, and my head was on top of hers.
   "So how are things with Connor?" I said, attempting to break the silence, blame my ADHD. She turned pink and replied "great, he's an amazing person to be around" I nodded noticing she's still pink, I smirked.
       I ship them
But my smirk vanished as soon as she asked "How are things with Rachel? has she gotten better?" She said looking at me worriedly.
I shrugged she hasn't bugging to much lately, just the one time two days ago when she poured a blue smoothie on my head, but then Alexis tackled her into the pool, so I guess we're even though she keeps glaring at me but I ignore her.
"Ok, I guess I mean she hasn't really been annoying me since you tackled her into the pool". She nodded, "what happens when you become queen?" She asked averting her gaze to the vast crystal ocean in front of us. "When I'm queen, she will be back in New York living her life, and I won't have a problem with her unless she comes back to Athens."
   She shook her head, "Your to generous, I would have had her killed" she said jokingly, I laughed. For one in a very long time, I felt content.

     I was glad to be reunited with my      sister who's also my best friend.
