The Singer, the Bet, and the Celebrity

Chapter 1

Serena's P.O.V

  "SERENA GET UP !!" my stepfather yells. I hate mornings, I lazily put on the first thing I see a grey shirt with a pair of jeans even though it the first day of school. I go to my stepsister Miettes room to wake her up but to my surprise she's already up talking to her friends on her phone and  she already got  dressed or should I say underdressed. She's wearing a designer dress that barely covers any skin. I tell her to go to the dining room and I walk to the kitchen to make breakfast. I make crepes with fruit and scrambled eggs. I never eat breakfast at the table unless my mom is home which she rarely is. My stepfather says that it would ruin his appetite seeing my face in the morning as he's eating. I get ready to go to school because I usually go with my stepsister in the car but she drops me off a block away from school because she says it ruin her reputation of being popular. But today she told me I had to walk to school because she's picking up her friends including the biggest player of the school Calem. I hate him for breaking all those girls hearts except for mine of course .

  As I am walking to school I have to think why is my life so terrible !! Ever since my dad died my mom remarried to my stepfather and stepsister. Plus I barely see her anymore because she works 24/7 probably to get her mind off my dad. One thing that keeps me going is music. I love to sing and dance the only people that have heard me are Dawn and May my best friends. As I enter the school I notice that everyone is staring at me and others are giggling about something else going on but I don't really care. When I get to my locker Dawn and May are dying to tell me something.

" Serena, you will not believe who's coming to our school!!" Dawn says as she squeals " THE Ash Ketchum!!"

  I'm pretty sure he's some singer but I don't really care about celebrities or their life but Dawn seems to love everything about it.

" Yeah, I still can't believe it " May says " also there is this rumor going around that Calem was dared to make you fall in love with him and then he's suppose to dump you."

" Well, I would never fall in love with him he's so obnoxious  and doesn't care about anyone but that also answers my question as to why everyone was staring at me today and why the other half were giggling " I say.  

 Just then the bell rings and I head to my classes. During my first class I was called to the principals office and everyone was mocking me about it as I left. When I got there the principal said " Don't worry your not in trouble, I just wanted to ask you to give a new student a tour around the school tomorrow" Phew, I thought.

" Sure, that sounds fine I will come straight here tomorrow morning" I said and then left to go to my second period class.

 Lunch

   Calem comes up to me and kisses me but I push him off me and yell at him for being such a douchebag. Everyone stares at me and starts whispering while Calem is in shock I guess he hasn't ever been rejected before. And I also guess that the rumor is true and I am some type of bet.

 Then, I walk to the music room and start singing when Calem comes in the room and I run out as fast as possible. While again, he is in shock and just stands there watching me run away.
