Ash tried calling and calling Serena. But she never answered until one call. He thought he was leaving a voicemail but Serena actually answered and was listening. Ash doesn't know that until he heard sobbing on the other line. She then decided to speak up and they agreed to meet and he would explain everything at the cafe. When he got there he had no idea that they been had that picture and that he was framed. He said that Calem wanted to talk so they met at a library and Lillie went up and kissed him unexpectedly and he tried to pull back but another man was holding him down. Calem had took the picture and reported it. Serena wanted to believe him but was still heartbroken so asked him to prove it. He said to meet him at the music room at school.
When Serena got there Ash was nowhere to be seen. Until she saw a person come out behind the stage except it wasn't Ash it was Sam Smith singing Stay With Me. Serena started tearing up. Ash then appeared by her side and said " Serena, I know I've made some mistakes and I'm sorry, but I do know that I love you with all my heart and would never trade you for fame." He then pulled out the promise rings and asked " Serena will you make me the happiest person alive and be my girlfriend?" Serena was silent unsure of what to say. She then took his promise ring slid it on his finger and said yes.
But then out of nowhere, Calem came in and started yelling. He said that Serena belonged to him and Ash doesn't deserve her. He then took Serena away and used sleeping gas on Ash and Sam Smith and they fell to the ground. Serena struggled to get away but couldn't. He took her to an old warehouse and kept her there.
