Chapter 28

   *skip a month* 

   KENZIE'S POV: Today is the day Rush comes back from his suspension. Johnny came back a week ago. I think things are going to be a little awkward.

   *at school*

   *kenzie walks over to annie, hayden, and johnny*

   Johnny: "Kenzie, today is the day Rush comes back, there will be no looking at him, no talking to him, and definitely no touching him."

   Kenzie: "I wouldn't do any of that"

   Johnny: "Ok..."

   *rush walks over to them*

   RUSH'S POV: I'm so excited to be back in school especially to see Kenzie. 

   Johnny: "Excuse me, 5000 feet away"

   Rush: "I'm not doing anything"

   Johnny: "You're literally next to my girlfriend"

   Rush: "Ok so, what does that mean?"

   Johnny: "Just go to homeroom"

   Rush: "You have to go to homeroom too, Johnny"

   Johnny: "Oh right, I forgot"

   Johnny: "Come along Kenzie"

   Kenzie: "Um I have to go sign up for a math tutor"

   Johnny: "Ok fine, don't walk with Rush"

   *rush walks to class. kenzie goes to sign up. johnny, hayden, and annie go to class*

   *skip to 2nd period*

   KENZIE'S POV: Rush sits next to me in math and I'm gonna have to talk to him. Johnny's gonna be so mad at me.

   *in math class*

   Teacher: "We need people to sign up to be a tutor, so if you would like to be a tutor please come to my desk and sign the sheet"

   *5 minutes later*

    Teacher: "So I've paired a tutor with students that signed up to get a tutor"

   Teacher: "Ashley and Caden, Molly and Sig, Hannah and Clay, and Rush and Mackenzie"

   KENZIE'S POV: Oh sh*t. Rush is my tutor?! You know what happens when someone tutors you?! You could fall in love! This is not good, I need to switch!

   *kenzie walks up to the teacher*

   Kenzie: "I need to switch my tutor"

   Teacher: "Why? Is there some difficulties?"

   Kenzie: "Uhhh-"

   Teacher: "Great, then you're staying with Rush. Have a nice day"

   *skip to lunch*

   *annie, kenzie, hayden, and johnny sit down at the table*

   Johnny: "Oh Kenz, who's your tutor?"

   Kenzie: "Uh nobody important"

   Kenzie: "Um Annie, I have to pee so come with me to the bathroom"

   Annie: "Ok"

   *in the bathroom*

   Annie: "Why are you acting so weird again?!"
