Soyi P.o.V

The mirror reflected my finished outfit. Matching to my slightly pink lips I was wearing a white dress, with a thin pink belt around my waist. Happily I spinned around and the silky fabric of the dress was brushing my legs smoothly.

I still couldn't believe, that Taehyung had actually asked me, if I would like to go for a dinner with him. For me it was not only an escape out of my daily life, but also a great chance to talk more with the handsome man.

Would he like my dress?

I posed in front of the mirror and observed my makeup again. It wasn't as beautiful as the one of Jack, but it was the best I could do, and I was proud of it.

And then the doorbell rang.

I rushed to the door nervously and stopped there to wait for some seconds, until I opened the door with a beaming smile.

"Hi."

Inwardly I slapped myself for that. How could I be that boring to just say "hi"? He didn't seem to be bored by my greeting though.

"You look absolutely gorgeous! I like the dress."

I had to hold back a touched sigh and just grinned back, with a simple: "Thankyou... You too!"

"Should we go over to the car?"

He pointed at the car, he had parked in the driveaway, while offering me his strong arm. Thankfully nodding I grabbed his arm and followed his lead to his red car.

"When I was young I always wanted to have a red car."

"Then we have something in common... They're great right?"

"Yeah I like how extra they are."

Taehyung began to snort next to me and almost crashed into another car, because he didn't see it.

"Pay attention, Kim Taehyung!"

Embarassed he stared at the road and tried to laugh of the awkward moment.

"Usually this doesn't happen to me!"

His lips, that were pressed together formed a cute pout and he pretended to be pissed. But I was an actress too, I knew that he was joking and immediately joined his little game.

"Oh my lord, I'm so sorry for insulting you."

In addition I assumed to wipe away a tear from the side of my cheek, which made Taehyung look confused for a short moment. I smiled at him excusing and turned on the radio.

"A table for two please."

Excitedly we followed the diner to a small table in the back of the large saloon, where we would have a bit of a privacy, as most of the guest were sitting near the entrance.

If I wasn't in a restaurant, I probably would jump around from happiness. Full with joy I touched the surface of the clean white table cloth and inspected the shining plates and forks on my place.

"Is this a dream?"

Teahyung nodded in agreement and helped me to sit down with my dress.

"If it's a dream, I don't want to wake up."

His intense stare directly into my eyes made my heart flutter. Did he just try to flirt with me? On a "dinner amongst collegues", how he had called it?

"What do you want to eat?", he tried to vary the theme with a shy wink.

"Schnitzel."

It was an absolute must-do, to eat Schnitzel in an Austrian restaurant. Even Taehyung, who usually wanted to eat something else, got convinced by me in the end to order Schnitzel.

After we had ordered the meal, we moved on talking, right where we had stopped on our last dinner. Last time he had built me up, because of my sister and family situation, and now he did it again. How could he be that caring?

"Always remember," he said in the end, "Never give up on trying to be happy. Even if everything else doesn't work, you still have the possibility to be happy. And that's what I, and the others who love you, want. You to be happy."

In his glance at me I could notice a firm conviction, that he would do everything to make me happier. That's what he was doing, since he had appeared in my life.

Finally the awaited Schnitzels arrived at our table and we both began to take fork and knife into our hands, and tried to chop the food properly.

Taehyung laughed at my helpless tries to chop the meat and pushed his own plate to the side.

There was now enough place for his arms to reach mine, and his hands wrapped around mine and helped me to chop it properly.

"You could also just chop it for me."

"No, I want you to learn it."

That warm skin touching my cold fingers, gave me little shivers. This wouldn't make it any better, and my Schnitzel began to look more like scrap yards than actually like food.

Finally Taehyung let go of my hands, but only to stand up and walk around the table to stand right behind me. I could feel his warm breath at my forehead, when he bowed down over me. From behind he grabbed my hands again, which looked more like a hug in the end, than an actual try to chop my goddamn demolished Schnitzel.

I hoped, he wouldn't notice my trembling arms or my rapid heartbeat, he had caused.

"I'm done."

Proudly like a little kid he kneeled down beside my chair and leaned his chin on my armrest and watched my critisizing glare at the meal.

"It doesn't even look like food anymore.", I ranted, teasingly.

Without any statement Taehyung took my plate and placed it on his side of the table. His perfectly chopped meal got delivered to my side by his hands and delighted my mind.

"Is this for me."

His gentle smile made my cheeks blush slightly.

There is nothing, that is better than food. Except eating it with good company.
