"Okay here Mr.Levy, your new principal wrote this down for you. I'll be your guide, throughout the year and I'm also glad on becoming your friend." The tall brunette said with a smile as she looked down at the shorter girl. Mr.Levy did tell her about the shorter girl and she knew that she'll have to be patient with her. She knew about the shorter girls condition but that didn't stop her from helping her. She was more than happy to help the girl out.

"Friend? Yes, I like making friends." Y/N said with a smile as she looked down at the paper which hafbsmall instructions that the taller girl wrote down for her. "Okay come on we have to go to class. We have English together."

"Why do I need to go to an English class? I already speak English. See I am speaking it right now." The taller brunette chuckled shaking her head.

"Yea I see that but it's one of the few classes we have to take in order to get out of this school." The taller girl smiled down at the shorter girl.

Maggie smiled at the smaller girl as she sat next her with a smile on her face. She couldn't help but aw at the girls cuteness. Maggie was told about the younger girls past and how it affected her now but she didn't care. Maggie was more than happy to be the shorter girls friend.

The taller could already feel the bond building between them two.

"Okay class settle down. We have a new student with us. But I'm not going to force her into introducing herself. So-"

The smaller girls smiled slightly as she looked at the everyone in the class. She would grow confused every minute and Maggie was there to help her and remind her of who she was, what Y/N was doing and where Y/N was at.

"Here I'm going to write this in your notebook. Remember to copy my notes and remember to give them back. Come on we're off to our next class." Maggie smiled as she finished writing. She handed Y/N the notebook that was still open on the front page. Y/N smiled and took the book.

Maggie lead the smaller girl to the next class. She was half Mr.Levy put her in every class Y/N was in. It made helping the smaller girl so much easier. "Mags?" Maggie looked down with a smile hearing the nick name. "Yes bud?" She said causing the small one to smile big showing some cute dimples which caused the taller girl to aw. "Where we going?" She smiled, "We are going to algebra. Now come on before we're late."

**

The day went on it was now lunch time and the two walked down to the cafeteria hand in hand. When it came to paying attention in class Y/N was still having a hard time but Maggie was there to make sure she was paying attention. Y/N would get lost and have absolutely no idea what the teacher was saying. She tended to be more confused in algebra more. Maggie did notice that. Also noting to help the younger girl more in algebra.

"Hey Maggie this the new girl you have to babysit?" Y/N looked forward to see a tall guy, she was lent stupid and she knew this guy was making fun of her. Before Maggie could answer, Y/N did.

"No I am not a baby dummy. You must be very dumb if you think I am a baby. Babies are small. I am not." Maggie couldn't help but let out a laugh seeing her friend's ex's face. The students walking by also laughed. The taller boy's face grew red. "Come on bud let's go eat some food." Y/N smiled excitedly. "Food? Yes I am hungry." The two walked away leaving a very angry boy behind.

"Okay Y/NN you're dad said that I'll be going home with you cause he's busy with business." Maggie said as she walked towards her car Y/N by her side hand in hand. "Home!? Finally!" Y/N said as she bounced slightly as they walked. Maggie chuckled shaking her head. "My thoughts exactly."

Maggie opened the front passenger door for the smaller girl. Y/N looked at the at the front passenger seat all of sudden feeling like she couldn't breath. Like air was knocked out of her. Her chest tightening, palms getting sweaty. She had a feeling that she remembered something, something bad.

"Hey Hey your okay." Maggie was able to catch her before the younger girl fell. "Y/N breath. Follow my breathing." Maggie quickly put Y/N's head on her face at hoping she'd relax. She quickly reached for the younger girls bag taking out the inhaler bringing up to the girls month. "W-who a-are y-you?" Maggie frowned slightly hugging the girl closer seeing that she was some what calming. But she still wanted to take her home to give the girl the medicine she needed. "I'm Maggie. I'm you're friend and I'll be taking you home. Is that okay?" Y/N nodded slowly. She looked around her gaze stopping on the pair of brown eyes.

"M-My h-head h-hurts." Maggie nodded remembering that Zac said Y/N needed to take medicine for headaches and pain. Maggie nodded picking up the smaller girl opening the back door putting her in the back seat buckling her up. She quickly shut the door along with the passenger door. She made her way around the car and quickly got in. Putting the gps to show her the way to the house. "You'll be okay."

But chances were the younger girl probably wasn't.

**

Zac looked at the x-ray that the doctor. "Okay this is your daughter's brain at the age of 10. As you can see it's not like any other brain. But through your the years we haven't seen much progress am I correct?" The doctor asked as he sat down on behind his desk looking from the files.

"Well actually just recently Y/N has been starting to remember this girl." Zac said with a small smile. "Oh wow that great news. What I'm going to tell you is all up to you and your daughter. This surgery could help her remember things." Zac nodded as the doctor spoke.

"Scientists were able to find a way for someone to remember things that happened yesterday, days ago, weeks ago, months ago or even years ago. I'll be putting electrodes implants in the brain which have been shown to improve memory. These implants will be driving the activity of the brain by increasing its sensitivity – turning up the volume of the memory circuits. Any event that involves the memory circuits is more likely to be stored and retained."

Zac sat there not knowing what to say. After almost 12 years there's finally a way. A way to help his little girl. "We'll do it." The doctor smiled and nodded. "Very well. Make sure to bring Y/N on Friday for a quick check up after the check up I'll see when we can do the surgery." Zac nodded and stood up when the doctor stood up as well. The doctor smiled and held out his hand. "We'll see you soon." Zac nodded and shook the man's hand.
