The first elective I have today is just a gym class. I find some one to show me to the gym and I thank them and start walking into the locker room.

I see Mateo's Afro again and he stops me.

Mateo: this is the boys locker room, girls locker room is that way

He points to the left and I see a bunch of girls going in the direction.

Willow: oh thanks

My awkward self. I walk to the GIRLS locker room and put my stuff down and change into my clothes. I look on my schedule which I wrote down my locker number and it's combination.

I open my locker and put my stuff in it. As I'm walking out of the locker room this girl stops me.

Girl: hey, are you and Mateo related?

I ball my fist up.

Willow: no!

Girl: sorry.. I was just asking

I roll my eyes as she walks away. It was okay when just Alisha and Key said it, ha Alisha keys. But anyway it was okay when just them two said it but now I have random people stopping  and asking me come on now.

I'm walking into my gym class and the coach stops me.

Coach: hey, are you and Mateo Bowles twins?

It takes every thing in me to just stay calm.

Willow: no , we are not twins or related

Coach: oh. Isn't weird how you guys have the same last name,

I never even thought about that. I just nod my head thinking a little but then I let the thought slip away and go sit down.

He tells us about how we'll be playing football. I look over at the only other gym class in here right now and guess who I see, Mateo.

He looks back at me and I mentally roll my eyes. People got me messed up.

After a long game of football I change back into my clothes and go to reading. I'm in there and guess what I see, that Afro.

This big school and we have so many things together how? He smirks at me and starts walking over to me.

Mateo: people keep asking me if you're my sister

Willow: me too and I hate it. It's only my first day and now I'm being flooded with all the wrong questions

Mateo: I just think it's funny how we have the same last name

I sigh holding my head in my hands.

Willow: don't remind me

I mumble just loud enough for him to hear and he just laughs.

Willow: honestly I don't see anything funny. Go sit down I don't need anybody thinking we're talking because we're siblings

Mateo: mad or not

He goes and sits down and the teacher begins class. I just listen to her talk about how this school year is gonna go.

She seems like a nice teacher. The rest of the day I found out that I also have math with him and science. This is gonna be interesting.
