We just got back from the mall, and we picked up some items from Walmart to make pizza from scratch. We all went in the kitchen and washed our hands.

My mom dried her hands then put her hand on my shoulder, "in this house, I always try to make fresh meals."

I laughed. "Unlike my dad who orders pizza every other day."

We all broke out in laughter except my dad.

"Hey, I'm working on it" he said.

I started to make the dough. I saw juju looking up at me. "Can I help?"

(A/N, I saw some people asking and no, Julian is not deformed in real life but in this book he is. Kind of like the kid from wonder)

"Sure!" I lift him up so he can reach the dough and he does a great job at mixing it.

"Guys" Syler said, " we should do boys against girls!"

"Yess! Watch out pizza come out better" Mateo grabs a bowl and he starts pouring flour into it.

Dad makes a stank face at him. "Move boy you probably can't even cook." He takes the bowl and starts to add water and me and Sylver start to laugh.

"Y'all think it's funny?" Teo grabs a bottle of Pam and starts to spray it on us.

"Momma!" Syler yells. I grab some ice out the freezer and I throw it at him.

"Cut it out" my mom pushes us out the way and starts to put the dough on the pan. Me and Sylver start to help again and it looks like our pizza is coming our way better than the boys.

"Ayleo, I know you know how to put some cheese on pizza" my dad squints his eyes at Ayo.

Ayo laughs but then stops when he sees my dad with a serious facial expression.

"Okay so I think, which ever team loses has to jump into the pool with all their clothes on." My mom says.

"Deal" my dad said.

We all got back to making our pizzas and we had to wait until they were finally done so we could put our pizzas in the oven together. Once they were five we took them out and let them cool.

"Okay so juju, you're gonna be our taste tester. Let us know which pizza tastes the best so we can decide the winner. He sat down in his chair and we sliced the pizzas.

We gave him a slice of the boys pizza first. "How does it taste?" He did the 'alright' signal with his hand.

"Next please" he slides that piece away and we give him the girls pizza. As soon as he takes a bit his eyebrows raise and he nods his head and points at the pizza. "This is the one!"

We cheer and watch the boys look mad. After we eat the pizza it's time for the boys to do the bet. We walk out side to the back and I see the pool for the first time, which is very nice.

All the boys jump in and we start laughing.

"Y'all are salty!" Sylver cracks up and they come out the pool shivering. They run upstairs to take showers and that was it for the night.
