Wally's POV
I was making my way to the kitchen when I looked over in the training room, a certain blonde archer was practicing. Every arrow made it to the middle of the target. She's really good, but I'd never tell her that. My thoughts got interrupted by the one and only Robin,
"Like the view?" He says with his signature smirk on his face. My faces grows red,
"What are you talking about?" I start walking to the kitchen. Robin closely following behind.
"Dude it's not that hard to see that you like her, I mean come on I'm your best friend."
"Your delusional Rob, you know we can't stand each other."
"Yea right, Wally, keep denying it." He walks away disappearing to somewhere in the cave. There's no way I like Artemis. Right? I mean she is hot and all- no.. no she's not hot. She's annoying, and never lets me get away with anything!
Flashback
We had barely beat off Klarion, he disappeared. Fate deciding not to let me go out of the helmet but thanks to Kent Nelson I was freed from it.
"Hey, remember kid, find your own little spitfire, one who won't let you get away with nothing"
End of flashback
Wally smiles to himself replaying what Kent Nelson had said to him. Artemis was his spitfire.
Artemis's POV
I got finished training when I see Wally standing in the kitchen just smiling.
"Hey Baywatch, smiling at the food doesn't make it taste any better," I laugh. He shakes his head out of his trance.
"Oh- you know you can actually shoot a bow pretty well." He smiled. My eyes grow wide. Did he just compliment me?
" Everything good with you, kid idiot? If I wasn't mistaken you just complimented me."
"Yea so what?" He shrugs his shoulders.
"Robbbb, KF is dying or something he's actually being nice!"
"Don't take it to heart, Harpy" He smiles walking back to his room. I stand in the kitchen confused and not knowing if I was dreaming or not. I jumped slightly when I hear Bats over the speakers saying,
"Everyone report to the main room now"
We all make our way into the main room of the cave where Batman is standing.
"Team we have a mission for you all, Cheshire and Sportsmaster are making a suspicious trip to Santa Prisca. I need you all to see what they are up to, this is a covert mission observe and report"
We all nod and put on a suits, then make our way to the Bio-ship.
Time skipppp
We all pile off the ship after a 10 hour ride,
"Okay everyone here are the groups, Connor and M'gann go observe from the east, Artemis and Kid Flash go West, and me and Robin will watch from above." Kaldur says as we all go to our destinations. Yay this is going to be fun, why did it have to be Baywatch. We stop in front of a rock while we listen in to Queen Bee's soldiers speak. One of them notice us and tries to come at us. I swiftly knocked him off his feet which then alerted other soldiers. They came running from all directions at me and Wally.
"Hey guys, we kinda need some help here!" Wally says into his ear piece. Every time I was about to shoot one Wally would run and get them away from me.
"What are you doing?!" I said irritated.
" Trying to protect you!" He says continuing to knock them out of the way.
" I don't need your protection, Wally."
" Oh my bad for wanting to help." He said sarcastically.
"I can take care of myself!" I snapped.
" You know what my bad, no one can ever try to help the notorious ice queen! Maybe you should be more appreciative."
"I didn't ask for you help, Wally!"
" Do you have to act like a b*tch all the time?!" He yelled at me. Is that what everyone thinks about me?
The team finally made it over to them taking out all the soldiers, we all make our way back on the ship getting ready for the long ride.
Wally's POV
I totally screwed everything up. WHY DID YOU CALL HER A B*TCH! Now she's going to hate your guts, good job Wally West. She didn't even have a comeback, she just stayed silent the whole time. Robin leaned over and whispered,
"What'd you do to Arty? She's been quiet this whole trip." I looked over at the beautiful blonde archer, then I place my head in my hands.
" I messed up big Rob.."

Both POV
As soon as Artemis gets off the ship she makes her way to her room not saying anything to anyone. Wally follows her feeling awful for what he said,
" Artemis please talk to me, I didn't mean it I'm sorry" He said apologizing.
"Go away, Wally." She said while Wally could hear sniffles from her. She had been crying. Wally thought to himself, 'She cares about what I think? There's no way the strong goddess is hurt by what I said.'
After hours of pleading Wally retreats to his bed room face planting on his bed and quickly falling asleep.
