Artemis's POV
I make my way over to the new boy shaking his hand,
"I'm Artemis" I smiled
"I'm Cameron" he looked and me grinning. I looked over at Wally and Jinx and frowned.
"Hey, mind to show me around the cave?" I nodded and motioned for Cam to follow me. After an hour or so we made it back to the living room.
"Wow this place is huge." Cam said looking around.
"Yea you'll get use to it." I smiled while nudging him. I looked around to see if Wally was here, which he was but with guess who. Jinx.
"I think I'm gonna head to my room." Cam nods and waves as I walk away. As I was walking I felt air go by me and a red head is standing in front of me. He holds my waist and grins,
" Hey beautiful." I frown and walk past him, he follows behind me.
"What's wrong, Arty?" I turned around to face him.
"Go away, Wally." I spun back around walking again. He ran in front of me then pulling me into his room.
"What's going on with you?" He raised his eyebrow. I glared at him.
" Why don't you just go back out there with Jinx? You obviously like her company." He looked at me with his eyes wide.
"Babe, she just my friend." I frowned
"Friends don't kiss friends." I walked out of his room to mine and bury my face into my pillow.
Wally's POV
I watched as Artemis left my room. I heard someone at my door,
"You screwed it up big this time." Robin said shaking his head. He was right, why didn't I push off Jinx? I didn't want to be mean! But I still kissed her in front of Artemis right after we spent the night together... I'm an awful person. I don't deserve someone like Arty, Jinx runs into my room and tackles me onto my bed.
"What are you doing?" I asked her with an eyebrow raised.
"Getting alone time with my favorite speedster," she smirked and kissed me. What am I doing? This is the exact reason why I'm not with Artemis right now. I push Jinx off and sat up on my bed.
"Wallyyy what was that about?" She questioned me.
"I just don't want to do that right now" I said to her,
"But it's been foreverrrr you've been off with this team and never have time for me" she said and started kissing my neck.
"No Jinx" I stand up, "I can't do this." She walked out of my room angry. I sighed, why is this happening to meeeee. I walk to the kitchen when I see Artemis talking to the new boy, what's his name? Cameron?
"Hey Arty" I smiled. She glared at me and the continued talking to him. I frowned and started looking through the fridge.
Artemis's POV
Ugh Wally seriously has the nerve to talk to me right now. You know what?! Screw him. Cam is pretty hot anyway.
"So Cam I thought you were a villain and all that, why'd you change?" I asked curiously.
" I decided I didn't want to be like my father, I was already living in his shadow. He always put me down when all I ever wanted to do was make him proud." He looked down.
"I know the feeling." I mumbled. I placed my hand on his,
"This team is great, you'll love it." I smiled he nodded, I looked over to see Wally still in the fridge. He spun around to look at me, but I turned and kissed Cam on the cheek. I could see Wally's face burning red. Cam looked at me and smiled,
"Wanna go watch a movie?" I suggested while pointing to the couch. He nodded and we walked over and sat down. I put on 'The Titanic' and we sat there watching it.
"Hey Artemis?" He smiled
"Yea Cam?" She looked at him.
"Thank you for helping me adjust here, i know some of the other people here weren't stoked about me joining the team. I understand I use to fight against you all but I've changed." He looks down.
"They will come around I promise." I grinned looking at him. We finished the movie and I got up to go to my room, Cam passed out on the couch during the movie. As I was walking through that hallway I was pulled into a closet. I looked up to see Wally West.
"What do you want, Wally?" He looked at me for a few minutes and then kissed me firmly. I pushed him off,
" I'm not just some second choice! Just because Jinx isn't around to give you all her attention right now doesn't mean you can use me!" I looked down.
"You were never a second choice. You will always be my first and only choice" he said picking up my chin looking at me.
"Why'd you kiss her then? Right in front of me Wally right after w-we.. we" He frowns and interrupts me.
"I was trying to be nice. Me and Jinx go way back."
"I need to go, Wally." I said trying to walk pass him. He grabs my wrist.
"Arty, please.." It hurts me to walk away from him but he done this to himself. I pull my wrist and walked out of the closet to my room.
