The White Wolf

Chapter 5

     As I drove home my mind was racing. He just told me that he would go to war for me. We barely knew each other and he was already displaying this much affection.  It scared me but I kind of liked how caring he was. Before I could get my bedroom door open Becca jumped on my back and slammed me into the wall. With a complaint of pain both of us fell to the ground laughing our asses off. This is why she is my best friend.  We collected ourselves and walked into my room.   When we were in there she asked me with a suggestive eyebrow raise, " How's lover boy? "

    I replied with a shrug of my shoulder but she knew something was up.

    So I rolled my eyes and quietly said," He said he as willing to go to war for me."

     Her mouth fell open and she screeched,"Lucky bitch."

     We didn't have to worry about noise because my room was sound proofed.

I laughed and thought to myself maybe I was lucky I had this big bad protector and I loved it. I giggled at the thought. She rolled her eyes at me she hates when I'm girlie girl.   Someone knocked on my door and slowly opened it. It was my mom. She asked to see me in the hallway i creased my forehead because I am so confused.  I slowly got up and walked out of my room. since my room is sound prof I would have to tell Becca all about this later.

     Once we were in the hallway she said," You have a visitor. "

     At first my heart leaped but then it sunk thinking of the worst and I asked her who it was ,"Mom who's here for me?"

     She let out a breath and I immediately was defensive. "He's here, why is here mom I don't want to see him."

     She let another small breath and said," Just please go see him you don't have to be polite."

     This was one of the only times she let me be intentionally rude to someone was when the Devil's spawn James was here. I walked back into my room and threw a shirt on because I was only wearing a tank top. Becca gave me a questioning look and I responded with a look that said I'll tell you later.

     I stormed out of my room angry that this asshole was bothering me. I walked down the large flight of stairs to my living room and low and behold there he was with a smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes and grimaced. I hate him so much.

     "Wow I was expecting at least a 'hi' but instead I get an eye roll." He said.

I rolled my eyes once more. I am so done with him.

     "Well if you weren't such a terrible person and didn't show up at the worst times then maybe you wouldn't get the reaction you get."

     He laughed. This got me angry. He underestimates me. This was one of the reasons I hate him.

     "What do you want?" I said with absolutely no patience in my voice.

     "You." He answered.

     I laughed but before I could get my retort out the doorbell rang. Thankful for the distraction I answered it. My mouth watered when I opened the door and saw Alec standing there with no shirt on. His eyes immediately turned black. I assume he smelled James because he pushed past me and ran into the living room. When I got there Alec had James against the wall by his neck as much as it scared me I was also severely turned on but I couldn't let my mate kill the alpha of one of the strongest pack so I put my hand on his shoulder and whispered sweet things in his ear and he calmed down. When he let James go he immediately put himself in between us. I kept a hold on his arm because I didn't want him to do anything he would regret. He was shaking and so tense i thought he was going to shift right then and there. At first James looked confused but caught on.

     "Oh so my precious little girl has a mate. How unfortunate. " He said.

     This made me mad because Alec was the man I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with and James was standing in the way of my happy ending and it was pissing me off quite frankly.

     That was when I snapped," Yes, he is my mate and I want to spend the rest of my life with him and the only thing keeping me from him is you and quite frankly I'm tired of it."

     At this both him and Alec were dead silent I looked back at Alec and saw a look of admiration and pride. I took my new found courage and decided that I wanted to spend some time with Alec and i kicked James out. When James heard this he was not too happy. His eyes turned pitch black. Alec took this as a threat towards me and defensively stood in front of me.  James slowly walked out not all too happy that someone was trying to steal what he thought was rightfully his. ME. After we heard the door click shut Alec relaxed significantly. I touched his shoulder he turned at my touch and smiled.

     "Wanna watch a movie? " I asked.

     "That would be lovely." He said.

Um okay so I know this chapter sucks but their will be better updates after my finals are over and summer starts.
