The White Wolf

Chapter 6

     We were sitting on the couch eating popcorn and watching The Breakfast Club because um Breakfast Club is life and he's never seen it so we are watching it. As we get further in the movie I notice that he scoots closer and closer to me.  I entertained him. When he was right up against my shoulder I leaned my head on his shoulder. As a result of this he laid back and I laid back with him. As the movie credits rolled out I fell asleep on his warm chest. I snuggled into his chest and I heard him chuckle before I fell into a comatose state.

     I woke up in the middle of the night still laying on Alec. I was so comfortable that I immediately fell back asleep. As the sun broke through the house's living room window I woke up slowly and peacefully. He sensed my movement and opened his sleepy eyes. I smiled and he smiled back. I got off of him just as my brother stumbled through the door hungover. I laughed at him because this was him usually every weekend.

     He groaned and and muttered, " It's not funny."

     That only made me laugh harder. He told me to shut up and slugged down a glass of water. I got off of Alec and went into the kitchen. I went in the refrigerator and got out bacon, eggs, and some milk for pancake mix. I looked back at Alec and he was just there staring at me.

      I  furrowed my eyebrows and asked him, " Why are you staring at me?" With a sleepy smile he responded with," Because your amazing and I have an amazing view of your butt. " I smiled and scoffed went back to cooking.

    

     I heard him get up and felt his presence behind me. I leaned into his chest and everything else disappeared. All of the trouble with James, my mom, everything. I pulled the bacon, eggs, and pancakes off the pans and heaped them onto one plate. I knew Alec would be hungry so I didn't expect their to be much left after he got his serving.  I got what was left even though I wasn't that hungry. He finished his in a matter of minutes. When he finished he picked me up like I was a sack of potatoes and carried me over to the couch put me down and proceded to sit on me and pin my arms above my head.

"Did you know you look so sexy when you're cooking?", he said.

     I bit my lip and stared into his eyes I couldn't believe this god was my mate and future husband. He groaned and said, " Baby please don't do that." "Do what?" I said as innocently as possible knowing full well what I was doing to him. He quickly got off of me and walked off. I giggled knowing what I could do to him.

     He came back calmer. I giggled again and he gave me a lopsided grin. Oh what this boy did to drives me INSANE. I knew he could tell but he didn't show it.

     I walked out of the back door and heard him follow. I inhaled the crisp autumn air and shivered as he put his arms around me. He put his lips on my neck and immediately melted in his arms it felt like we were the only two standing there and the world disappeared into the back round. I reluctantly came back to reality. I slowly opened my eyes and untangled myself from his arms and took off towards the woods. I felt so free I just wanted to run. He followed at a light jog and let me have my space. I wasn't really dressed for running but I just kept going. I was wearing a cream oversized sweater and maroon skinny jeans with light brown combat boots.

     I stopped when I heard the loud rushing of water and knew I had found it. The waterfall the last place my real mom took me before she died. I sped up her scent was still there and the memories we shared there were amazing. This was a part of my life I wanted to share with Alec. I stopped and waited for him to catch up. When he found me he quickly came to my side and held my hand. Tingles immediately shot up my arm. He looked scared like something or someone was going to jump out of the bushes and kill me. I smiled and reassured him. He calmed down.

  "Why are we here, sweets?", he asked. I responded quietly with sadness heavily coating my voice.

  " This was the last place my mom brought me before she died. We had the best time here. It was a day during the summer and we went swimming and camped the night. We swam at night with the fireflies and the moon eliminating everything around us. It was beautiful and probably the best moment of my entire life."

     I didn't even realize it but by the end of that I was crying and he quickly wiped my face I sniffled and thanked him. He was already my everything. If I have to leave him I have no idea what I would do.
