CHAPTER TWO- BLACKTHORN UNIVERSITY

"I will unveil your deepest CLANDESTINE.."

FAYE'S POV

"HI!"

I was busy scanning the students master's list when someone at my back spoke. I did not respond nor tried to look at him.

"I said hi."

Naiirita ako. Ngunit pinilit ko na lamang na huwag siyang pansinin. Naiinis ako sa mga taong katulad niya.

"I just wanted to ask something."

Napabuntung-hininga na lamang ako. Alam ko namang ako ang kausap. Wala namang ibang tao doon maliban sa aming dalawa. Call me snob pero wapakels.

"Miss snob!"

I continued checking the lists not minding him. I did not know him and not interested to get acquainted with him or with anyone else as I used to be. When I saw my name on the lists, I made a mental note and headed to Arts Building.

I looked around and got fascinated. The university was very gigantic in size. Most of the building were five-storey type. Though I was used to it I was still amazed by the architectural design. Felt like I was in fantasy movies. I was in awe. Dazed.

The wide oval were carpeted with lush Bermuda grass inviting me to lie upon it. Definitely a good idea while gazing at the starry night sky. Hopeless romantic..duh?

At the central stage stood the tall pole carrying the symbol of Blackthorn University. A dark red cloth with purplish initials, BU surrounded with black thorns inscribed boldly in a book. There were hands holding the book as if catching it.

In every buildings engrave respective colleges' departments and so its name. Searching would not be so hard to do since it was occupying a vast area of land. They must be really rich. Multi-billionaire. Certainly Montefalco elders were part of it. Tsk!Tsk! The reason why mom was insisting that I must be enrolled here. Besides my twin brothers were here.

The whole area was encircled with large tall trees. At the university's entrance stood the black painted iron gate. As I entered the school, right before my eyes, the Fountain of Wishes. Its name had been engraved on the basement. I wondered if it really granted wishes. Maybe I could make a wish. A simple wish that I'd been longing to do come true.

Napakunot-noo ako. Kapansin-pansing most structure was everything was in equal distribution. Everything was in balance. There were four structure at the right as well as at the left. I was pretty sure if I changed my point of view, still it was the same. It was strange but surprisingly splendid at the same time.

At kanina ring pagkatapak ko pa lamang sa may gate ay may naramdaman akong kakaibang pwersa. Tila may invisible barrier sa buong campus.

Call me nuts but I really felt some strange weak lightning strike on my body as I set my foot on the school's entrance. Particularly on my chest. A little pain stroke on my heart. Weird.

Ngunit napangisi ako. Maituturing na isang mahiwaga at misteryoso ang school na ito. This will be fun. Exciting! I freakin'ly love adventure!

I turned right and went straight ahead to Arts Building and search my room. I was glad that it was on the first floor. For every floor there were designated levels. First floor for the freshmen, 2nd for the sophomores and so on so forth. Ranking really had a high influence. Especially to this kind of school. Individuality had played a big role too.
