Prologue

Hi guys! So I didn't tell anyone I was writing a new story, and I just had the urge to write a new one! So here is the prologue! xXBiancaXx

What would you do if every single thing in your life was turned upside down. My name is Zoey Ava Murphy and my name means life. I am 19. I am alive, but I am dead inside. It's pretty funny how my name means life, but yet I'm not. There is no point in living anymore. No one cares about me, not even my parents. Well all of my parents. I was adopted. My real birth parents left me on the side of a orphanage and Ms. Smith took me in until someone adopted me. I was six when someone finally wanted me. I thought I had a perfect life. I got everything I wanted, everything I ever needed, and a wonderful family. That was until my Foster Mom died. I was eight. My Foster dad started drinking more and that was the time the sexual and physical abuse started. I'll get into that later. I always have nightmares and flashbacks and they're not pretty. My foster dad died a few years after and I was left all alone again. When I was 14 I got adopted again and I didn't have any trust on anyone except for Ms. Smith. Along the way my foster Dad died in a very tragic car accident and my foster Mom killed herself saying that she couldn't live without him and that she never loved me. After that, no one adopted me ever again. I mean I knew why, seeing as my record says that I was a delinquent. I still have a really good education though. I am going to the University of Oxford in England and I am currently living in Manchester. I had to repeat a year because of all the commotion that was happening, but it was okay. I only have one true friend and her name is Hailey Zoey Murphy; were not related. Everyone thinks we are just because her middle name is my first name and we have the same last names. An information that you might need to know is that I never had a boyfriend.
