I sighed as I sat in the back of a run-down taxi, but you can't expect the world of Los Santos to be nice. Here laid violence and gangs, so why would they pay for their taxis to be top dollar when they get stolen a lot anyway.
The noise here wasn't much better, always shouting and cars honking at each other although the light had just gone green. Although I complain about all those things, seem to know them all too well. I was here on a mission by my father, I had to track someone down who was close to us. Father said I would receive more information once I arrived.
I shuffled through my bag and pulled out my phone, I could see my browns eyes staring at me, my brown hair rested in a messy bun on my head. This mission was all natural for no one knew who I was, I didn't need a blonde wig and blue eyes although it looked nice it was annoying.
Suddenly the Taxi jolted to a stop. I glared at the driver and hopped out the car. The guy said nothing to me, just starting to light up a smoke. I rolled my eyes and grabbed out my two suitcases from the back. One had all my more advanced gear while the other was my everyday clothes and gear.
I slammed the boot shut, I guess this signalled the driver because he drove off leaving me in a cloud of smoke. This place was a hell of a wreck.
My attention was drawn away from the rudeness of the taxi driver and towards the cheerful giggles that had begun beside me. I knew that giggle anywhere, I turned with a big smile and saw my one an only true best friend. Taylah.
There my best friend stood, in clothes other than black. A big smile on her face and skin showing, she even had her natural blonde hair instead of on black. She had changed from the last time I saw her, she looked truly happy.
"Well that was better than what I got, the dude drove off with my suitcases. Took two days to get it back." She laughed out.
I smiled at her, she always made me smile. Always made me forget the bad days or the doom ahead of me. She knew somewhat of my life but a big part had to be hidden from her so she would stay safe. I had to leave her at the age of six so she would be safe.
"Oh ha ha, I think he didn't because he knew I would kick his ass." I joked to Tj.
"Sweetheart, you would kick anyone and alls butts," Tj stated.
"You got me there, alright lets head inside." I smile and walk up the stairs towards Tj. When I informed her that I was coming to Los Santos she insisted to get an apartment together, just a week before my arrival she scored this place. In all honesty, I got it. Through the same people, I get my gear. I needed a way to hide all my gear and my guns so I needed to make a few calls.
As we entered the place, I felt at home. That hasn't happened for a while.
I turned to Tj and saw her smiley face gone. Everything about her screamed serious. I sat down and she sat right next to me and let out a massive sigh. It seemed hard for her to let out whatever she wanted to.
"Look, Kat. You are one of my best friends and I can't lie to you. Since I lost my parents it was hard to live, they protected me but I couldn't take over the company at the age of sixteen and now they won't let me. So I did what I had to, which was join a gang." Taylah explained.
I always wanted to come back for her, she lost everything but she understood I lived a dangerous life.
"What is your gang called?" I asked as I rubbed her back.
"The Broken angels. We are actually the eighth most dangerous group in Los Santos. The Crew is first, so watch out for them and don't get in trouble please." Taylah spoke softly.
I smiled at her and nodded my head. I had to remember to never fight with The Broken Angels for Taylah was in there, I couldn't risk her getting hurt.
"I am so glad you understand, you always do. So now I must head off, a shipment of weapons comes in a few hours and I need to help my gang. Don't wait up for me." Taylah hugged me and walked out.
I quickly pulled my suitcases into my room, I walked into the wardrobe and searched for the broken switch they told me about. Without trouble, I saw it near the back. I smile and press it in. Soon the walls moved to the side releasing a secret room perfect for an agent, especially one trying to hide her secret life from her friend.
I admit I feel bad, Taylah was honest to me while I stay silent and try hiding it from her. I fear that she will get hurt if she knew, or be dragged into my problems.
I began to place all my gear away, going quickly until I pulled out my outfit. It was inspired by Cat women, all back. My mask covered half my face an had cat ears at the top. I wore a simple black tank top, a leather Jacket, skin-tight black jeans with black combat boots.
Carefully I placed everything away and walked out of the wardrobe.
What seemed like hours of laying on my bed, reading my instructions and jobs here, a loud bang went out. I sighed and looked out my window, fear ran through my spine. Near the ocean was a lot of smoke, I could only assume the docks where there.
Taylah could be in danger.
Without a second thought I dash into the wardrobe and threw on my clothes, I grabbed two pistols an multiple throwing knives.
"The kitten does not allow her sisters blood to be shred," I whispered as I walked to the window. "So here I come to help her."
I leapt out my window and cling onto the building next to me with my claws. These gloves with built-in claws have always helped me, so thank you cat women.
I push myself up to the top of the building an begin running towards the smoke. I know deep down Tj could hold herself well but she was the most important person to me and I never felt right knowing she could be hurt, I can help her so I intend to.
The wind pushed against me as I dash across the roofs, closer to the smoke. The closer I got the louder the guns got, the louder the screams got. I felt my heart sink, Taylah could be any of them.
I halted on top of a warehouse, I saw multiple angles like people and a handful of others with red and black clothes. From afar I noticed Tj, I could always know who she was in a crowded room or even with a mask on.
I peek down to see multiple men firing towards the Angels, I click my tongue and roll my shoulders getting ready to pounce on them.
I laugh loudly as I lunged down towards them. two men looked up at me but mt claws had already dug into their chest. Soon the rest of them started to come at me.
I rolled my eyes and sprinted straight towards them, flying between the bodies and kicking, scratching and impaling whoever I pasted. Soon enough multiple men groaned around. I smirked as I heard Tj cheer from the back, although I could easily turn on them for they didn't know me.
"Retreat!'" someone yelled from afar and all the guys groaned and ran from me.
I turned to face the Angels an saw all the guns pointed at me, I tisked and rolled my eyes.
"I don't want it!" I yelled. "I was helping some ladies out, so all yours!'
They all cheered a run into the warehouse to collect what they had planned to get. Suddenly another crew showed up, I groaned.
"We will be taking that ladies." A guy in a paper bag stated.
I stepped forward, just to stand outside the warehouse.
"No, it is theirs. You might want to back up" I hissed.
"What makes you say that, Kitty?" The guy in the hockey-masked questioned.
I chuckled an shook my head.
"Easy unwanted Clown. They were here first and if you leave them be I won't kick your arse." I stated with a sickly sweet voice.
The hockey-mask guy seemed to go towards his gun but a weird guy in an owl masked stopped him. They began to whisper to each other, looking in our direction time to time before leaving.
I laughed an the Angels cheered. I flicked two fingers off my head as a goodbye and run back up on the roof. It was home time for Tj was safe and sound.
