After the long introduction brought to me by EXO, Tao had to go back to practice. It appears that he had taken too long with the drinks (my fault) so he missed a few dances. Neither Suho or Kris were pleased with the idea of Tao skipping practice so they substituted him for a new guide for me. It had to be someone who wouldn't be affected by missing a few dance practices so I wasn't surprised when I found myself being led out of EXO's practice room by Kai. He showed me all of the other practice rooms in the hallway and told me who they belonged to- I saw SNSD's, SHINee's, F(x)'s and INFINITE's. Other then telling me the place's name and it's use when we arrived, Kai kept quiet most of the time. I though we'd talk more since, you know, we'd met each other before. as we left the right wing of the building I started seeing more and more people, most of them were around my age, pretty and with quite the awesome fashion sense. "This is the trainee section. You'll most likely be training here everyday." He told me as he stopped to look at my reaction. I nodded and he continued into the Mess hall, the moment we entered I saw a twinkle in Kai’s eyes. He looked towards the food counter as if he was trying to eat it by staring at it. He looked so cute. I looked towards the chicken and felt my stomach grumble and I'm sure my guide heard it too. "Kai, I'm hungry, can we eat?" I asked him. He turned around carefully, his eyes barely leaving the food counter but they somehow managed to lock themselves to mine. They showed a sign of confusion. "I'm not allowed to eat during practice." He explained to me causing an innocent smile to form on my lips as I pointed out the obvious. "You're not in practice anymore though." Kai paused for a moment, his eyes looked away from mine and he reached for his pocket. Unlocking his IPhone he groaned as he read something, apparently an SMS from Suho saying that they've ordered Pizza. "Don't get me wrong, I like pizza, just not for every meal." He justified himself as he typed something back on his phone. He stopped typing for a moment and looked up at me carefully, then he looked back down and finished typing.
“Soooo, about that lunch you offered, I think I’ll except your proposal.” He informed me as he headed towards the food counter, I followed him and we both took a tray. OMG! CHICKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!!!!! I felt a goofy grin appear on my face as I started putting spicy chicken fillets on a plate. Twenty three seemed enough! Mhm. I nodded at my own decision; I shouldn’t overdo it on the calories. I followed Kai to the drinks stand and took a bottle of warm water. We sat on one of the smaller tables at the side of the cafeteria so we wouldn’t attract too much attention but I could already hear whispers about us. We sat across from each-other and due to the fact that this table wasn’t very big we barely found place for our legs. I reached for my chicken and took a bite from it, mmmmm, I grinned happily. I looked at Kai only to notice that he too had taken chicken. I looked up at him and he appeared to do the same. “So, you like chicken?” I asked him as he nodded and finished his first piece. “Love it. You?” He stated shortly and I finished my first piece of chicken. “Same.” I smiled at him as I started eating my second piece. “I actually wrote a haiku about chicken back in school.” He said and that sentence immediately had my attention, this guy was a GENIUS! “Want me to tell you?” He asked as he bit into his third piece of god-created deliciousness, I nodded eagerly. Who wouldn’t? It was chicken literature!!! “Chicken can be fried (5), It can be roasted or boiled (7), And it’s still awesome (5)!” I immediately started clapping, that was extremely poetic, the best Haiku I’d ever heard. “Brava, Brava! You’re a genius.” I said as I swallowed my fifth piece. A goofy smile appeared on Kai’s lips as he took a sip of water. “It takes one to know one.” He told me and got back to eating his eighth piece. Aww, he was sweet.
We ate silently for a few minutes and just as I bit into my twelfth chicken fillet, Kai paused and looked at me curiously. “Why did you join SM?” He asked me rather quietly. The intensity of his eyes showed that he was REALLY curious. “I came all the way from Bulgaria for my dream, If I can accomplish it in SM, I will do my best.” I told him as I raised the thirteenth piece of chicken towards my mouth, but just as I was about to bite another question was fired at me with the exact same intensity. “And what’s your dream?” He asked. I put down the fillet and smiled “I want to be a K-Pop Idol, majoring in singing of course.” Both of us started eating again, our table fell into silence and that allowed me to hear whispers around us, they were something of the sort of. “Who does she think she is?” “Why is she next to my oppa?” “Did she use some sort of spell?” I rolled my eyes at that last one, was there someone really that stupid here? I looked around cautiously and then at Kai, maybe sitting with me ruined his reputation? He seemed to notice my worried stare and sent me a small smile. “Don’t worry, I don’t care.” The lead dancer of EXO-K finished his plate earlier then me and pushed his tray aside, resting his head on the palm of his right hand, he looked at me as I finished my twentieth piece of chicken. I noticed him staring at me so I grinned at him, all of a sudden his look turned to that of concern as he opened his mouth and pointed to a certain spot on his teeth. “You have chicken here.” He said and I immediately slapped my mouth closed with my free hand. “S-sorry.” Oh wow, how embarrassing. I used my tongue to remove the delish chicken from it spot and down it went under my tummy. “Done!” I showed him a smile before finishing my chicken. He looked stunned for a moment, his eyes went a little wide for some reason as he asked “Wait you can do that with your tongue?” I nodded as I took a sip of water. “Why?” The moment that word left my mouth I think I saw Kai turn a light shade of pink, or was I seeing things. Nah must be my imagination. Kai stood quiet so I decided to leave both of our trays in the dirty section only to barely catch his whisper. “They say only good kissers could do that.”
Yeah, I almost dropped the trays….
