his breath hitched a little. he wanted to lie so badly, but he knew that she knows.

his head hung low and nodded a bit, shamefully.

'thank you,' her voice was quivering, she was shedding tears yet again.

he looked up when he listened to her reply, 'for?' he questioned.

'for not lying.' she didn't bother to wipe the tears, just letting it flow down freely.

tooru raised up his hand, wanting to help her wipe her tears. but she just moved further away from him. oh, how that one little move hurt him.

he bit his lips, 'i'm sorry.' he knew that sorry wouldn't do anything, but he didn't know what else to do or say.

she took up all her courage and walk, and stood in front of him.

she bent down and hugged him, stuffing her face into her shoulder. he didn't return the hug, because he was startled by her actions.

'oikawa tooru, i love you.

i love your smiles;

i love your obsession with volleyball;

i love your attitude;

i love that you're just so hardworking to achieve things that you want to be achieved;

your looks are just a bonus, even without your handsome face, i would still fall in love with you over and over again!

i just love everything about you, your flaws, your everything;

but do you know loving you, sometimes just kills me inside slowly yet painfully?'

she muffled out, her tears staining his shirt.

oikawa was quiet, he was near to crying, too. he returned the hug, 'i'm s-sorry.' he whispered.

she pulled away from the hug and sat beside of him, wiping her tears.

he stared at her broken form, he didn't dare to touch her, afraid that she would move away again. nothing else was heard, except for the sobs that came from the girl.

well, until she decided to speak again,

'it's okay, tooru, i forgive you.' she said between her sobs.

'because i have kept a secret, myself, too.'
