Fed up already!

Andy: Hey there, pretty lady.

Andy: I'm just having a bad day. I guess I'm so fed up with this whole modeling thing.

Andy: Good morning, anyway.

(Elina rubs her eyes, still half-asleep as she sees his texts. Her fingers hover over the keyboard before she finally replies.)

Elina: Hey, I just got up. Sounds like you're having a rough morning. Wanna talk about it?

Andy: Hey, yeah, I didn't mean to dump that on you. I just... I'm tired of the same crap every day.

Andy: I don't get to do anything I actually enjoy. My entire life revolves around shallow people doing shallow things. And I'm just not that guy, you know?

Elina: Obviously I do, Andy. You're more than that.

Andy: Ahh... I'm not sad. I just, I want more from my life. I want to do something worth doing.

Andy: I don't want to be a pretty face for girls (or gay guys) to obsess over. I mean, cool, but I think I have more to offer than just being someone's fantasy.

Elina: You are more than that. I know it.

Andy: Thanks 😊. That means a lot.

Andy: I'm really glad you texted me this morning. A lot of girls run the second they realize I'm more than just looks.

Andy: They want me to be a toy, and the second I ask for more than that, they get bored.

Andy: You think you won't get bored of me? :)

Elina: Obviously not. How could I? You're wonderful. :)

Andy: Nah... You're wonderful. ;)

Elina: No, you.

Andy: Nope, YOU.

Elina: Noooo... you! :)

Andy: Nope! You are. End of discussion! I win. You are wonderful.

Elina: Haha... okay! Okay!

Andy: You really have the power to make me happy, even on my worst days.

Elina: See? I'm talented. 😁

Andy: Yeah, girl. I know you are. Way more than me.

Elina: 😉☺

Andy: So, do you think I can trust you with a secret?

Elina: What do you think? Can you?

Andy: I guess yeah.

Elina: You guess?

Andy: Actually... I'm sure I can.

Elina: Go on, then...

Andy: Just listen with patience. It's gonna be long.

Elina: I'm all ears.

(Andy hesitates for a moment, then finally starts typing...)

Andy: So, I haven't had a real girlfriend in the last two years.

Andy: I've dated girls here and there, but I haven't been able to trust anyone since I found out my ex, Manny, cheated on me.

Andy: Everyone thinks we broke up because she was holding me back, but I just didn't have the guts to tell my friends that she had been sleeping with my cousin for the last year of our relationship.

Andy: That messed me up, Elina. More than I ever admitted.

(Elina stares at the screen, feeling a strange ache in her chest for him. She types carefully.)
