So I went to church and the Father told us a story about Sour Grapes from the Bible. I'm going to say a few things that matters and what I could sum up from his preach today.
Is MONEY bad?
MONEY is only bad when you didn't share when you can. When you only use it for your own personal benefit, to fulfill your ego.
Is POWER bad?
POWER is bad when you use it to press others down, instead of using it to uplift others who are down.
Is POPULAR / INFLUENTIAL bad?
Being POPULAR or having INFLUENCE isn't bad unless you use it to satisfy your own pride instead of inspire people to be kind to one another.
Sometimes we're too busy with ourselves that we forget about others.
We kill others' personality by gossiping about them, making them feeling insecure just to cover up our own insecurity.
We forget what matters more because we're blinded by our own personal agenda.
We pray not because we want to be close to God but to show others how good we are.
We don't care that some people are struggling as long as we aren't.
Let's stop being sour grapes.
Let's start making difference.
Let's become the better version of ourselves.
