I was effectively struck by the words of Ryan. I had decided that I would board the first train to Kolkata and stay with my aunt.

She was a great lady - an IAS officer of great respect and equally well at household chores. After my parents, she was the only one on whom I could depend. Her husband was a military Colonel and a hard n tough man. He loved his wife die heartedly but he never compared her with nationalism. He died in the terrorist attack of 22nd december 2000. My aunt was a strong lady. Her neighbors called her Mr. Lady. She was hardly afraid. No one had ever seen her cry except on the day of her husband's funeral.

No one other than her could sense n get hold of my situation.

I boarded the train at exact 5:00pm and it had to reach Kolkata in the next 18 hours - a considerably long journey. Initially, I loved train journeys. They were fun, making friends, talking with new people, enjoying the scenery outside n many more things. But so many incidents had took place with me that I couldn't even imagine of having fun.

"Hey! I have got the seat next to yours. May I?" Said a gentle voice.
It was a young gentleman who wore glasses and had a tall and appealing appearance.

"Why not! Have your seat" I replied in instance.

"Thank you. May I know ur gud name please?" He said in a soft tone.

"Ya sure! I'm Rachael. And what about you?" I said.

"I'm Ron. Where are u going to get off the train? " He asked.

"Does that even matter? I mean, why r u even asking me that." I said in an awkward manner.

"Well! It seems s if ur mood's not good. It's perfectly fine. Talk to me when you are comfortable." He said humbly.

"Ohh! There's nothing as such. I will be getting off at Kolkata. What about you" I said as I was trying to hide my sorrow.

"That's great! Then I can help you with it as we have the same destination." He said cheerfully.

"Probably different destinies" I said in a very low tone.

"Did you say something?" He asked immediately.
"I guess you are not fit internally. Am I capable enough to know the matter?"

"You undoubtedly are! But I am not capable enough to tell" I said.

"Probably! But feel free. You can trust me" he said cheerfully.

"Its a long story" I said.

"The journey is long too I guess" he said winking.

"Well, you are right!" I said giving a sigh of relief.

I told him everything, every minor detail- from the trip till the promise made by Ryan. He heard everything with great interest. I trusted him blindly- there was something which was quite catchy with him.

"Oh! I got it now! No need to worry. Everything will be alright." this was all he could say.

"I hope the same" I said.

We were enjoying our long voyage-like 18 hr journey in the way I had not imagined it could be. It was all because of the presence of Ron. He made me feel comfortable in every way he could. It was really fun spending my time with him. I shared my stupid (literally lame) experiences with him n I found he was totally my type! Cuz he did exactly the same.

"Time is passing like a flash of lightning. Isn't it?" He said.

" I agree!" I replied.

We enjoyed our journey like there was nothing else to care about. We laughed, giggled, played, sang and did every kind of mischief that could be done with the other passengers. This was my best train journey ever. 18 hours felt like seconds and we reached or destination.

I got down the train first and Ron helped me with my luggage. Then he came down n it was time to say goodbye. None of us wanted to do so but it was a necessity.

'I hope we will meet someday Racheal, and I hope that day comes soon. Good bye- take care of yourself' he said hesitantly.

'Bye Ron. I hope the same' saying this we both went in the opposite directions.

Then I took a cab and went to my Aunt's place thinking about Ron all through the journey which seemed to be longer than the one experienced in train.
