"I'll watch her for you. " whispers. "Plus I think bolt has a crush on her. Might as well give him a chance. " Topaz said

"hoo okay then good luck Bolt." Nixie said with a smirk on her lips

Bolt sits next t Flare.

Flares looks at Bolt sitting next to her and gives him a small smile.

Topaz chuckles a bit.

Nixie smiles and shrugs as she walks toward the Pidgeot.

"See ya." Topaz said while waving

"Um. Sure. Make sure you take care of him well then" Blake said.

Nixie nods as she gets on Pidgeot and pets his head before staking off. "See you soon! Be good Flare." says before leaving.

"Looks like we better start walking." topaz said

It takes Nixie and Pidgeot about 2 hours to reach the second city for her gym badge.

After three hours of traveling Topaz and Blake are almost at the forest edge.

He only laughed. "And that's what happened when I was stuck in a pokeball. After that the trainer let me go after realizing I wasn't ... well... feral" he said.

He snickered . "That quite a tale you've got."

"Yea, and the most embarrassing one at that" he said. "My mom never laughed so hard." He added.

"So what's your family like? " topaz asked

"Eh... I'm the only cub of the family. Both my parents are ninetales as well, mom says I look more like dad though." He muttered. "Dad runs a research group on stones and other stuff while mom stays at home" he muttered.

"Really? Sounds like you got lucky." Topaz said

"What do you mean by that?" He asked.

"My father was a champion of Kalos and he strives to make me and my siblings like him. My sister and brothers all carry that legacy but no matter how strong I am he never sees me as champion potential. But I've got a plan." Topaz said

Pidgeot lands on the beach and nixie gets of and thanks him while nervously trying to ignore the ocean not a few steps away.

Oh I see" he said. "I never really strive for that. I more so study the biology of Pokemon. Like what I always wonder is how a civil anthro like my great great grandma was able to have a cub with a wild and feral Ninetales" he muttered.

Nixie then felt something wet and slimy rub againts her leg. Her eyes went wide as her body froze in place which made the pidgeot worried as he looks at her. Nixie gulps nervously as she slowly looks down to a pink vaporeon. Nixie starts to shake just before she bolted away leaving a confuse vaporeon and pidgeot that after a few moment went to follow her while the vaporeon was confuse on the beach.

"My family has been civil for generations. And like I said my siblings they have become champions in other regions. But they did it by catching pokemon to win. I want to be the first in my family to become a champion by battling on my own." Topaz said

"That's a dream worth fighting for " he said.

"Thanks." Topaz said

Nixie reach to a rocky area that beside it was a sign of a gym but she was more focus on trying to calm her self down just as Pidgeot came flying in to her side and touched her with his wing as if asking if she was okay. Nixie looks at his worried eyes and nods while saying, "I'm okay just horrified of the ocean that's all." he nods as Nixie then takes a looks around her noticing the sign and says, "hmm now i don't have to find the gym then. what are you going to do Pidgeot leave for to go back to Blake or wait for me when done with the battle?"
