After a long day at school, I  finally arrived home.

"I'm home!" I yelled entering the house.

"Hi! I'm in my room"

I know how much this means to my mum.

We really haven't been together in a while. 

I went to mum's bedroom. She was putting lipstick.

"Hey mum"

"Hi, Eleanor. How was school?" She asked hugging me

"it was actually good"

And it was!

Taylor didn't say a single word to me. And I talked to a lot of people. 

I actually enjoyed going to school today. 

I'm glad that Marcel came into my life. I know he was Harry all the time, but it was Marcel who was there. Marcel was the one I saw and the one who helped me and I'm thankful.

"Really?"

"Yes, mum. Now , are you ready to go?" I asked her

" Yeah, let's go"

She grabbed her purse and both of us walked out of her bedroom.

"Where's Sandra?" Mum asked grabbing her car keys.

"She said she would stay at school to finish a project with her friend" I explained 

We walked out of the house and mum locked the door.

"Are you going to drive?" I asked 

"Yes"

She opened the car and we both got in. 

"I thought I would never get to go out with you again#

She said starting the car.

"Why?"

"Things have been a bit awkward between us,since that incident"

I know exactly what she was talking about.

"It's all behind now, mum. It's on the past! I'm sorry for being so distant. I didn't meant to"

"And you also had that pretty boy on your mind. What was his name? Harvey? Harley? Har-"

"It's Harry, mum! " I laughed

"Oh, I knew that! That's what I was going to say" She said as it was the most obvious thing

"Yeah right

"Anyways, how is he" She asked

"He's fine. He's in Cheshire with his family."

"When does he come back?"

"Next week, I think. We haven't talked yet"

"Oh, well. He might be back soon."
