Sorry if that annoys you. One more thing if you guys have any ideas let me know about it . I would be happy to know about them and try to work on them. Also most of you will find this chap boring that's because I want to show the life Eric used to live and how it changed and all. So there will be a lot of changes. Just wait and read the story. Don't forget to VOTE, COMMENT and FOLLOW as by doing that you my friends will encourage me somehow. Hope you enjoy this chapter. :D
After the meeting and some interviews, Eric stood in the lobby quite satisfied with himself and reached for his cellphone which was inside his pocket.
Thank God. I didn't forget about my cellphone.he thought as he dialed his father's number. His father answered on the third bell.
"What!?" Mr. Boston growled "Do you have any specific reason to call?"
"Yes Sir. Actually I do. I took some interviews an- " As usual Eric was interrupted by his father.
" I know what you did. Mr. Deveraux called me and told me everything. Listen Eric, you interview some common people who are applying for job. They are NOT your relatives. You don't have to be nice to them. You don't have to behave like you want them to be your damn friends."
"Er.... they were so nervous. I was just trying to_" Again he was interrupted.
"NERVOUS MY FOOT !" his father barked "You're not their cheerleader. Understand?"
"I'm sor_"
"Cut the crap now . I don't have time for your NONSENSE!!" And with that his father ended the call.
Eric just stared at his phone. His face not revealing any of his emotions.
I should simply get used to it. There's nothing I could do to make him happy or.......proud. Eric thought and put back his cellphone inside his coat's pocket. He took out his aviator sunglasses and put them on, completely shielding his eyes from the world, and moved toward the sliding glass door.
Eric came out of the building and looked at his surroundings realizing that he has to take a taxi or again a bus to go back. That was when his eyes noticed his car parked in the parking lot. Edward was leaning at Eric's car's door swirling the keys around his finger.
He noticed Eric and smirked, "You do have a car remember?"
Eric snatched the keys from his hand and gave him a look, "Next time. Throw my wallet toward me."
His best friend grinned and handed him his wallet too, "Sorry Dude. You know me."
Eric sighed and said, "Just get in the car. Will you?"
"Someone just talked to his father". Edward murmured as he got inside the car. He knew Eric very well. Eric never showed his emotions to anyone. He'd always be calm around people. Not giving them a single chance to know what's in his mind. He was very much like... a robot.
Eric heard what he said about his father but he didn't give him any answer and just ignored him. What he always did.
"So how did you get here with no car?" Edward asked him, making himself comfortable in the seat.
"By bus." That was all he said.
"Woohoo". his friend whistled "The billionaire took the bus for the first time in his whole life? Strange..."
