So. Here's my first chapter I hope you enjoy. Do vote guys. :D
On the 16th floor of Boston corporation building, a man of age 24 with extremely good looks was clearly engrossed in his laptop game just when suddenly there was a knock at his office door. At first he didn't hear the knock. The second time he pretended he didn't hear, even though the knock was louder. He thought the person knocking, would eventually give up and leave him alone. But instead, a louder knock was there, making him groan and glare at the door like it was all its fault.
''Yes?!" he almost barked at the door.
A very pretty secretary in her mid thirties, opened the door, poked her head in and looked at the man sitting behind his table with his shiny black loafers on it and his laptop on his lap, with a frown, glaring at her.
So, it was her. Urgh. That explained the knocking-without-giving-up gesture, which, in the man's view, was nothing to be proud of.
She cleared her throat and spoke,"Mr. Boston, I'm here to tell you that you have a meeting with Mr. Deveraux in his building in approximately two hours."
"What? You're serious? No man.... Julie, why is it that every time you enter my cabin you always give me some bad news?"
Julie smiled at him and said, " I just pass the messages, Mr. Boston."
He chuckled,"Yeah right, your so called messages. Fine, I'll be ready in no time."
Julie left and Mr. Boston continued playing his game when again someone knocked at the door and burst in without permission like a thunderstorm. Mr. Boston sighed.
"Hey Eddy, what do you want now?" he asked the intruder without taking his eyes off the laptop screen.
''Hey Eric, it's quite surprising that you always know its me without giving me so much as a glance." Edward said to his childhood friend.
Eric smiled at his friend and said," Who else has the guts to barge in my cabin without my permission? Well, with the exception of my dad. What do you want?''
Eddy laughed."Yeah, point taken and how the hell do you know I want something?''
Eric smirked at Ed, "Sixth sense." he said.
Edward smirked back, "Right." he said, "I believe you dude, but I'd really love to know a more appropriate reason." he added.
"Oh, that's your entry, for one , you burst into my cabin like a blast today which you always do when you want something, but whenever you come for a small chitchat you always enter with some decency."
Edward raised sarcastic brows at Eric.
"Now if you are done with this interrogation, tell me what do you want so that I can get back to my work. I'm a very busy man as you well know.'' Eric added.
"Heh. Seriously, Eric. I know you too and I damn well know that you are playing some game on that laptop of yours. So you're not even close to being 'busy'. Not at the moment, at least. "
Eric chuckled. ''What do you want, Ed?'
"Actually, I forgot my wallet at home and I need to borrow some money." Eddy replied.
Eric took out his wallet and threw it in Edward's direction. Edward caught it in air, took out some money and threw his wallet on the table. "Thanks man , you're a life saver. I'll call you later today. Okay?''
Eric looked at him and said,"Okay.''
After Edward left, Eric gave all his attention to his game one more time when his office phone started ringing , he cursed under his breath and picked the receiver,"Sir, Mr. Boston is on the line." The operator said.
