'What's up with you kids running toward this bus like zombies?' Joe asked Angel irritatingly.
Angel broke that eye contact with Eric and looked at Joe. She straightened up.
'Why? You're scared Joe?' Angel smirked at him and raised a brow.
'Ha! In your dreams.' Joe said it in a childish way.
'Sorry to break your heart but I don't dream about you.' Angel patted his shoulder with one hand and with the other one she made a gesture of wiping a tear.
'Yeah Whatever. Now go and get your favorite seat.' Joe made a lame face.
'Sure.' She grinned.
Joe shook his head and motioned for her to move.
She turned and looked at Eric who was still standing there. Angel waved at him and walked towards her seat. When she got near to him she stopped.
'Hey! 'Again she waved at him.
'Eh... Hi.' Eric blinked and replied awkwardly. He was trying to figure out if it's a dream or really happening.
Angel frowned at him then she clapped her hands in front of his face.
'Wakey Wakey. Down to Earth Mr. Pluto. Come back from your dreams.'
'Huh?.... Oh!.... Erm.. Sorry.' Eric looked around and then at her.
Yeah. Definitely not a dream. Eric thought happily. He was looking at her in wonder and then he grinned.
'You're leaving?' She asked him.
'Sorry what?' He was still grinning like a goof.
'Are you leaving?' She raised her brows and asked him again.
She is dissapointed? Cool!
'Erm..No.'
'Oh!...Erm....The way you're standing there... I thought you were leaving.'
Eric stopped grinning and looked around him and then at his seat, realizing his position.
Damn it!
He cleared his throat. 'No I was just..... standing here.... to let you......pass.'
'Is that so?' She asked, completely amused.
'Yeah.' He chuckled nervously.
Why the hell am I nervous?
'Well then... With all due respect, May I take my seat?' She smiled.
Eric chuckled,'Of course.'
He moved aside to let her pass. Angel took her seat next to window. She was wearing denim jeans with a white button down shirt. Her curly blonde hair was messed up and her skin was flushed. She was looking........ beautiful. She took out a hair brush from her bag and brushed her hair and then tied them in a high ponytail. Eric sat back next to her and kept staring at her. Angel met his eyes.
'Uh... Sorry. You see I had to run miles to get on this bus.Thank God, I'm on time.'
It was on the tip of his tongue to tell her she was late and he was just about to leave but then he controlled himself. Of course she wasn't there to see him. She wasn't that silly to leave everything behind, give her car to her friend and take this bus just to see someone. Eric looked straight ahead.
