Today is the last game in the Stanley Cup finals. The Toronto Maple Leafs lead against the Dallas Stars.

The  fans are roaring in the sea of blue. The Toronto Maple Leafs had a winning streak from January to the end of February.

Mitch Marner is the captain of the most powerful NHL in the league.

"Matthews give the puck to Marner who will be by the net for the rebound," Coach said telling his players what to do.

"Tonight is our night boys!" He shouted with a smile. Mitch smiled at the guys and nodded his head with agreement.

"One minute left in the 3rd period!" The announcer yelled with excitement as the clock ticked down. Leafs lead 5-3 and the fans are screaming at the top of the lungs.

Sam runs down to the glass and cheers alongside the fans. The clock gets down the last 10 seconds.

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 ... 2 ... 1!" The area boomed.

The teammates with so much excitement piled all on each other. Some of the fans had happy tears falling down their cheeks. Smiles so big that could stop anything.

After the players got off each other Mitch excitedly skates over to the glass by Sam. Yelling "We did it!" Over the fans.

"I love you so much baby." Sam yelled back him.

Sam went down by the locker room with the other wives and girlfriends. The Stanley cup was being carried down to the ice by two men in the late thirties or early forties wearing white gloves.

Mitch was the first to hold the cup. He pulled it up over his head skating around showing it off. Mitch was handed the microphone to give a speech. All the players, hockey wives and girlfriends where too.

"I'm so thankful for all of you amazing and wonderful supportive fans. All us players are so lucky to have you all. Before I go I would like my beautiful girlfriend Sam to come out here." Mitch says with a smile.

Sam slowly walked out my Mitch. Awkwardly smiling and the bright lights on her.

"Sam I promised one day you would be able to be my wife. I've loved you since we where stupid teenagers," tears are coming out of Sam's eyes.

"Will you Marry me Sam?" Mitch asks as he gets on one knee. All the fans are clapping.

"Yes!!" Sam says.

Mitch slides the stunning diamond ring on her finger.

They hug tightly and kiss with passion.

"The End," Mitch says to Hudson.

"That was a good story Daddy." Hudson said with excitement.

"Thanks now go to bed goofy." He say tucking in Hudson.

Sam smiles from the door watching her husband put their son to bed.

"I'm so glad you did the G rated version on the story." Sam laughed, thinking of their 6 year old son.

"Of course I would have." He laughed too.

The book is going to be a Tyler Segin story called 'Safe Haven.' Based on the movie.
