Chapter 7: Insomnia.

After talking to each other and just chilling inside our hotel room, most of them started getting sleepy. It was 1:15am.

"I'm getting tired, dattebayo..." Naruto said as he rubbed his eyes.

"Same here." Neji agreed.

"I'm sleepy now." Tenten lied down on the bed.

"If you guys are sleepy, go back to your rooms!" Ino said half-awake, half-asleep.

Naruto was about to knock out on the bed until I punched him awake and said, "If you're going to sleep, go to your room!"

"Yeah, yeah whatever." Naruto said, scratching his back.

The guys started leaving the girl's room to go back to their room until Ino scared them to death. "SHIKA-KUN, WAKE YOUR ASS UP AND GO TO YOUR ROOM WITH THE BOYS."

He woke up instantly and rubbed his ears. 'If this is how it's like to be married, then I don't know how I'm going to live.' He thought as he walked back to his room.

"I-Ino.... You're t-too loud.... I t-think you woke up s-some people..." Hinata said.

"Who cares, anyways, I'll be turning off the lights now. I need beauty sleep." Ino said.

After 15 minutes, all the girls were already asleep. Unfortunately, I was still awake. I couldn't sleep at all.

I put on my dark blue hoodie and put on my shoes. I literally looked like a bucket. I was wearing a hoodie, pajama pants and shoes.

I quietly walked out, and closed the door behind me slowly.

Quite a shock, Sasuke also came out of his room. Wearing a Linkin Park band tee, his pajama pants and shoes.

"You couldn't sleep either, huh." Sasuke started the conversation.

"Yeah... And it's funny. When we first met last week, you ignored me and now it seems like you wanna talk to me? What a quick change of heart." I smirked.

"Hn. You're right." Sasuke was impressed by her. She wasn't just any fangirl like Karin.

"So... Wanna walk around? It's nice at night and it's only 1:45am." I said, breaking the silence.

"Hn." Sasuke nodded.

As we walked around, it was really nice. The weather wasn't too cold, just a light breeze that passes by every now and then. The stars were out, and the city where we were still had its lights turned on, lighting up the night.

Sasuke and I were silent, as we were passing by stores. My stomach started growling. Sasuke laughed, "are you hungry?"

"Clearly." I replied back.

"I'll treat you to Ichiraku's." Sasuke offered. "Thanks."

When we reached Ichiraku's, we sat down on the seats. "2 Miso Pork ramen." Sasuke ordered.

The guy that worked there said, "Ah, well look who's here! The young Uchiha treating his girlfriend."

"G-girlfriend?!" I stammered.

"Hn. Nice assumption, but she's only a friend." Sasuke said.

"My mistake." The worker said and started cooking the ramen.

The air was filled with awkward silence until our ramen was served. "2 Miso Pork ramen!"

"Arigato. Itadakimasu!" I said, then stuffed my face with the delicious bowl of hot ramen.

"You're a pretty heavy eater, for a girl with a small frame." Sasuke smirked, then slurped his ramen.

I replied back with my mouth full, "sorry, I love food."

"Close your mouth, pinky." He laughed.

I swallowed my food before replying and said, "thought you weren't going to call me pinky, chicken-ass."

"Don't call me chicken-ass."

"Then don't call me pinky."

"Go eat your food, it's getting cold."

"Jerk."

"Hn."

We both started laughing at our little quarrel, and then we started finishing our bowl of ramen. "That was some good shit." I said as we walked out. While enjoying our alone time together, we started walking into almost every store, just for laughs and giggles.

"Sa-su-ke-kun, let's go to the bra shop!" I died of laughter.

"You're kidding." Sasuke said with wide eyes.

"Come on, I need new bras," I started.

'Don't tell me she's planning to take me with her as she tries bras on' Sasuke thought.

".... For you. You need extra support." I said, laughing even more.

"Ha ha ha. Very funny, Sa-ku-ra-chan. Let's just keep walking."

"You're no fun."

"I know, thank you. It means a lot."

After going window-shopping. No, not shopping for windows. I mean, passing by stores and looking through the window and looking at the display. I started getting tired. So we walked to a park nearby and sat on the bench. "Sasuke.... I'm sleepy..." I said as I fell asleep on his shoulder."

"Hn. Now what am I going to do."

'Carry her and bring her back to the hotel! Duh idiot!' Inner Sasuke said.

"Wtf, I had an inner?" Sasuke thought.

'Ever since you met Sakura!' Inner replied back.

"Whatever." As Sasuke got up from the bench, he gave Sakura a piggyback while she was asleep.

As he arrived back to the hotel, he placed Sakura gently on the ground outside her hotel room door, searched through her hoodie pocket to find the key to her room, found it and opened the door really quietly, trying not to disturb the others that were asleep. He picked Sakura up once again but bridal-style and gently placed her on the bed. Before leaving, Sasuke brushed the pink strands of her hair away from her face and whispered, "I still love you."
