Welcome to the exquisite world of A NaNoCRATE where we are prepared to sail through this blood curdling and mind dwindling seas together and accomplish our goal of writing a total of 50k words!

Seems a lot? Worry not, fellow crew member. Together, we can cross through the harshest of weathers and roughest of seas.

Now, what is this NaNoWriMo you ask?

NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month which is officially celebrated through the course of the November month, an annual literary Internet-based creative writing project to help authors push their boundaries and achieve something very big. Participants attempt to write a 50,000 word manuscript between November 1 and November 30 and the completed novels are sent to the official website of the celebration.

First of all, to enter officially, you must sign up as a member on the official site www.nanowrimo.org and fill out your profile to make yourself recognisable in the community. Then, starting from 12:00, 1st November, 2017, you are allowed to begin writing down whatever you have in store.

NaNoWriMo aims to instigate the virtues of self confidence and literary discipline with its project among the budding authors. The benefits you ask?

• It helps you to build self confidence.
• It assists you to avoid writer's block and pen down the story you have always wished to write.
• If the story is a true masterpiece, it gets a huge probability of being noticed by big publishing houses.
