Chapter 4

"Sparrow you and Robin are going to distract the Joker while we rescue the hostages." Batman explained while we were on the roof top above Jokers hide out.

"Split up." We moved into different directions not to get easily caught. Some how I lost Damian. I broke into the wear house. It was dark no signs of anyone there. I took one look around there was a light it was shinning on ... Robin.

"Robin." I ran up to him he was knocked out cold. Blood all over his face. He still has his pulse a strong one. Who did this. A clap echoed around the room.

"Who are you." I asked toward a dark corner in the room. A pasty white face clown. Im dead.

"I thought you'd never come." He said.

"What do you mean Joker?" I got on my gard also protecting Damian.

"I've just been waiting. Waiting to see who's gonna look for there little Robin. But I'm thinking what's gonna hurt more, Robin being hurt or.. Sparrow being dead." Jokers men came out of the shadows slowly surrounding me.

"You know Sparrow it's funny when I killed the second bird he was heart broken and he changed. But then he replaced him. But you being so close to Hoddie and the Bats and all the other bird brains it's gonna hurt so much more." He kept walking closer to me. I couldn't move it was like someone was holding me down. I was in pure terror.

Next thing I know I'm face to face, nose to nose with Joker and his goons actually are holding me down to my knees. I looked at Joker then back at Damian I don't want anything to happen to him.

"Please don't hurt him." A tear rolled down my face.

"Does Sparrow have a crush on Robin." I put my head down from embarrassment.

"Ok I'll leave him. Only because your coming with me." On of jokers goons put a cloth over my mouth I blacked out. Hell begins now doesn't it.

Time skip
Pain and Hate that's  all I felt. Is this what Jason felt like?

"You ready to play or do you need more disabling." Joker said swinging a crow bar. I hate him.

"Screw you."

"Not very nice. Oh I have an idea let's call Batman." He pulled up a television set.  It went from static to the Batcave.

"Hellooo Batman you there."

"Were is she Joker." Jason seethed.

"Right behind me." He moved so I was in view. I could here the anger in Jason's voice.

"Were are you so I can kick your ass!"

"Uh uh hoddie look for your self you have an hour after words bye bye birdie. But you already know that. "He ended the call now I fear for my life.

Time skip
There almost out of time. The have exactly two minuets.

Wack.

I look up. Half my mask broken exposing my eye.

"What you thinking birdie."

"How when they get here there gonna knock you dead."

Wack, wack ,wack

That hurt

"Don't ever say that!"

One minute please be here.

Time skip
I've given up hope
A single tear falls down my cheek.

"5" I saw the count down start
"4"
"3"
"2"
"1"

Glass broke from from the clock tower. I looked up to see everyone even Damian.

They were taking out Jokers men. Damian came to me untiring me.

"Savannah are you ok?" He never calls me by my real name.

"I-I'm ok." He let off that handsome smile of his.

"Why didn't you let them take me vannah." He said looking me right in the eyes

"I didn't want you to get hurt." I put my head down.

"I didn't want that to happen ether that's why I was faking." He put his finger under my chin lifting me to see his green eyes. We were just sitting on the floor we didn't even realize Joker was behind us.

BANG

Everyone stopped what we were doing I turned around. I saw Joker with a smoking gun. I felt my stomach. Warm liquid was on my costume.

"Shit." I murmured. I looked at Damian  he has a look of concern and terror. Jason shot Joker in the knee caps. Bruce took him to the police who were waiting outside.

"Savannah we're gonna take you to the Batcave ok just stay awake." Damian picked me up bridal style walking to the bat mobile.

"Jay im gonna be ok." I said to Jason who had a tear falling from his mask.

"I thought that too." He said dead serious.

Him, Dick, Tim, Damian and Bruce shared a look and nodded. 

"What was that about?" I asked Damian.

"Nothing just stay awake." I couldn't though. I already felt myself losing consciousness. I guess it's now or never.

"Damian I have to tell you something."

"Can it wait."

"No it's have to tell you now." I held in a yawn.

"Ok what is it." He looked me dead in the eye suppressing what ever emotion he had in the beginning.

"I like you, no I more that like you Damian but I know you don't care but I -" I was cut off but a pair of lips meeting mine.

"I love you to Savanah, I don't want to lose you."

"I know I'll survive."

"But what if you dont."

"I'll at least die knowing you like me back."

"Please don't say that."  His voice cracked sounding as if he's about to burst out in tears any minute. My eye lids started to get heavy everyone was starting to notice and gave worried looks. Damian just pulled me closer to his chest whispering sweet nothings into my ear as I dosed off into the eternal slumber called death.

Oh Gosh Jason is gonna be so pissed at me

Damian's Pov

I don't want her to leave me not now not ever.

We all said if she died we'll take her to mother tell her to keep her out of this life. Train her just don't let her near us until she's 16 and trained.

Why did she have to die?

Why did Joker take her?

I need her with me.
