Ever since I was 15 years old, I turned "emo", as some people like to call it. But that's not really what happened to me. I went through some serious crap. Which eventually triggered my inner self. You know, dressing up in black and listening to Panic! At The Disco. Yeah I know, that's very stereotypical.

But it's true. Technically it wasn't my fault. At all. It was his fault. I still didn't forgive him for what he'd done. I haven't talked to him ever since, and I'm kind of glad. He put me through so much pain, and I don't know if I could take any more. That's why I moved here.

A fresh start.

Haha funny joke. The memories are still there, so I didn't start over. At all. I'm just distracting myself.  Distractions can sometimes be good, but they can be long.

I try to move on from the past, but I just can't. And that's why I dress in all black and have no friends. Literally. This is my second year at Rain View High School, and I still have no friends. Thank god I'm in my senior year, so I can get out of this hell-hole.

Ringgggg!!!!!!

The school bell goes off, pulling me away from my thoughts.

"All right class, you're dismissed." Mr Harrison, my science teacher, said.

I got up from my seat in the back of the room, and grabbed my bag. Of course, that's black also. Basically the only thing that isn't black of mine is my white earbuds.

As I slung my bag over my shoulder, my dark brown hair swayed back and forth. I have to admit, my dark brown hair did compliment my slightly pale skin. But who cares.

I followed the shuffling students outside the classroom and into the hall. After a few rights and lefts down the halls, I arrived at my locker.

Unlike every other girl in this school, I didn't decorate my locker. Obviously. Like who the heck would put a carpet in their locker?! Seriously, I saw multiple girls put zebra striped carpets in their lockers.

I put my bag in my locker, but before I shut my locker, I remembered that I forgot my IPod. Grabbing my black IPod, I shut my locker and turned around. Too bad I bumped into something.

Or someone.

Oh shit.

"Hey! Who the heck just walked into me!" He boomed. Meet Riley Evans. The pig/bully/stupidest person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

I tried to keep my head down, and walk the other way, but he stepped in front of me. "Oh would you look at that. It's the weirdo." He sneered. I tried to walk around him, but he stopped me again. Damn you, I thought.

"Where you going, weirdo? Hmm? Maybe to WeirdoVille?" He snickered and so did everyone around us. That's when I realized that everyone in the hallway stopped what they were doing, and was calmly watching Riley torment me. Yay.

"I'm trying to get to lunch." I snapped back. Yup that was a mistake. Because the next thing I knew, he threw his hand in the air and smacked my IPod right out of my hand.

Crack!

Yup, that sound was totally not good.

"Well that wasn't very nice." I heard a girly voice say. I took my eyes off of my now broken IPod to see the source of the voice. Melanie. I've seen her around school, but we haven't really talked. She always tries to smile at me in the halls, but I mostly just ignore her.
