Shawn's pov
"Have a good day kids, I love you all very much," I say to them as they get in the car. "Hey dad, my basketball team needs a coach, could you be our coach again?" Lilia asks. "Um sure I'll need to check my schedule okay Lili girl?"
"Okay dad love you." "Love you too sweetie." I go inside and I hear my phone ring. It's Andrew. "Hey Andrew what's up," I answer the phone. "Shawn great news, your two year contract is ending, you can get back to work," he says. Two years ago I signed a contract that I get a two year paid break.
"Yeah that's awesome!" "We need to setup tour dates and get working on another album." "Another album? What about the one I released right before break?" "You'll sing those on tour too, but the fans need fresh music."
"Um okay." "Great see you in the studio this week," Andrew says and hangs up. I sit down on the couch, Gizmo laying next to me. "How am I going to tell the kids and Y/n, Gizmo?" I rub his head. He purrs. "I love you my old man cat."
Your pov
You arrive home from your job, tired. "Babe I need to tell you something!" Shawn says running up to you. "What?" You say. "My contract is over, I'm going back on tour!" "Oh hubby that's awesome!" You hug him. "I can't wait to tell the kids."
Michael's pov
"Cameron I'm sorry I couldn't go to your Mom's birthday dinner last night, I had to help my grandpa Manny clean his garage," I say as she speed walks away from me. "Whatever Michael," Cameron says.
"Baby I'm serious, I'm really sorry. How can I make it up to you?" "Stop making stupid excuses," she says slamming her car door and driving away. "Damn it," I mumble under my breath. "You alright Mike?" I hear someone say. I see my friends Marcus, Colby, and Jayden. They've been my friends since about preschool.
"Hey guys," I say. "Need a ride?" Marcus asks. I nod. "Let's go to Tony's," Jayden says. "Yeah sounds good," I say. Tony's is this really good local pizza place. "Sorry guys I can't my mom wants me home," Colby says.
"Okay, we'll see you tomorrow Colbs," Marcus says. Marcus, Jayden and I get in Marcus's truck and go to Tony's. "Colby hasn't been hanging out with us a lot lately," Jayden says after we order our pizza.
"Colby is just a busy dude," I say. "Sorry Mike I have to agree with Miss Jayden, it's like he's hiding something," Marcus says. "I disagree, Colby is just the same old Colby." Jayden shakes her head. After Tony's I went home.
My parents and siblings are in the living room together. "There you are," my dad says. "What's happening?" I ask. "Sit Michael," my mom says. I sit down. "Kids my two year contract has ended and I decided I'm going back on tour after Christmas," my dad says. "That's cool," I say.
This isn't unusual, my dad has been touring my whole childhood. "But Dad you said you be my basketball coach," Lilia says. "I'm sorry sweetie." She gets up and goes to her room. "I'm going to miss you dad," Kaden says. "I'll miss you too bud."
Colby's pov
"Let's go to Tony's," Jayden says. I feel my phone vibrate. I look and I have a text message. "Sorry guys I can't my mom wants me home," I say. They leave and I get in my car and go to Cameron's house.
