Chapter 5

The next day was horrible.

I walked up to carter and said hi.

"Who are you?", he asked.

"It's piper, don't you remember?", I replied.

"Nope, never seen you before!", he said as he winked and walked away.

Wow, I can't believe he just did that! I thought I actually had a chance. But now I know I didn't.

But I'm use to being hurt. Once again, it happens all the time.

Once I got home, I ran to my room and started crying my eyes out.

I never knew someone could be so mean and rude. But Carter was. He definitely was. But I still liked him!!! And the thing was, I didn't want to!!

It was almost like only eating a few chips but wanting more.

I wanted more!

I hated carter! But I loved him more than life itself!

I fell asleep after talking to myself like I normally do.

I ended up waking up at 3:00 am.

I got out of my bed and went to the kitchen. (The only place that will ever love me)

I opened the fridge, and grabbed some pudding and a dr. Pepper.

Then, I looked in the cabinet for some chocolate.

There was 2 Hershey bars and a Reece's cup.

I grabbed the Reece's cup and went back to my room.

After I was done eating, I got a call from katie, which was weird because it was 3:00 in the morning.

"Hey, can I ask you something?", katie asked.

"Sure, whats up?", I replied back.

"I was wondering if you would ask carter if he liked me!", she said.

I was shocked but I couldn't let my best friend down.

"Sure, when do you want me to do it?", I asked.

"Tomorrow before lunch".

"Okay, I will", I said.

"Thanks!! Love you best friend!", she replied.

"Love you too!".

I hung up and sighed. I really didn't want to deal with the carter stuff today so I just went back to sleep hoping tomorrow would be better.
