Chapter 12

The next day I woke up and took a shower. I was so excited because there was only 1 more day until my date with carter!

After my shower I started to get ready. I put on light eye liner and mascara. Then I picked out an outfit.

I walked into school and saw carter. He started to walk my way. I was nervous! He just grabbed my hands and kissed me on the check. I blushed and hugged him.

We walked towards katie. She looked really upset. I told carter to let me talk to her and he understood.

"Katie can we talk?"

"Sure whatever", katie replied.

I took her to the door near the library.

"What's wrong?", I asked

"I don't know. I'm just worried that I won't get what you have with carter with Nash", she mumbled.

"You know, Nash is such a sweet guy! I bet he'll be very loving and caring for you", I told her.

She nodded and hugged me, "will you talk to Nash for me?".

"Sure!", I replied.

I went back to carter. I stared at him and he smiled. He was so gorgeous. I know I don't deserve him.

After school Carter took me home. He's never seen my house before so I was nervous to know what he would think.

"Wow", he said.

"What?", I giggled.

"Nothing it's just your house is nice...", he replied, "and you're beautiful".

I blushed and we went to the living room to watch TV for a while.

I had my hand down on the couch and he grabbed it. I felt something I've never felt before. I looked at him and smiled.

"Can I ask you something?", he wondered.

"Sure, what is it?", I replied.

"Can I kiss you?".

I smiled and before I could answer he leaned in and his lips touched mine.

I felt fireworks.

For the first time in my life, I felt like he was the one.

CARTER'S POV

"Can I ask you something?", I asked.

"Sure, what is it?", she replied.

"Can I kiss you?", I asked nervously.

She smiled and I automatically leaned in and kissed her.

I couldn't believe that I did that without an answer.

I felt firework and I hope she did too.

After the kiss she looked at me and rested her head on my shoulder. She's so perfect. I couldn't ask for anyone better.

PIPER'S POV

It was around 5 when Carter left. I could wait to see what carter had in store for our date.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed some fruit snacks and went to my room.

After I ate the fruit snacks, I went to bed because I was to excited for our date the next day.
