The bass from the house was still booming as loud as it possibly could. I wrapped myself in an old jacket I left in the barn a couple weeks ago to keep warm. I wish I was enjoying this party as much as everyone else, but the mysterious guy I met in the house threw me off. Who did he think he was?! Some superstar?! no. He was a drunken college idiot. I rolled my eyes at the thought of him. He was rude, arrogant, annoying, stubborn and is to used to getting his way all the time.

I guess I feel kinda bad for judging him… kinda.

I huff and lean against the barn wall.

I can’t sit here and and do nothing in the barn when I could at least try to enjoy the rest of the evening. I walk back to the house and soon regret it.

I sneak into the kitchen to grab the smokes once again. Usually I would stick to one but this party was slowly killing me, maybe the nicotine would kill me sooner.

I see a group of people start to form a circle in the middle of the living room about to play who knows what. I laugh at Laura when I see that she joined the game. Louis probably convinced her to play with him. God she was so whipped.

My smirk drops as I see her walking towards me. Oh no she wasn’t.

“Aliiiii!” she laughed and came up to me. yep, she’s drunk.

She took me by the arm and led me over to their circle. I was forced to sit down in between the curly haired boy and the blonde kid I met earlier, Niall I think it was. I glared over at Laura who wore a proud smile on her face. I hate her sometimes.

“Now we have enough girls to play.” Laura announced.

Play what? what exactly did she drag me into…

I looked around and saw laura tear a little piece of paper out of a notebook and set a bottle of liquor in the middle of the circle. I had no clue what this game was, but I knew I wasn’t going to like it.

Laura sits back down with Louis to her right and a red headed guy to her left.

Apparently the game was suck and blow luckily the game started on the other side of the circle so I was able to go at the end of the round. The game is simple, you put a piece of paper on your lips and suck in air to keep it there. You then touch your lips to the person next to you and you blow on the paper and then they suck to keep the paper going. If you drop the paper then you have to take a shot and kiss the person next to you.

It seemed easy enough to me.

It went around the circle and then it got to Niall, His lips touched mine through the paper and I could feel his hot breath on my lips. I sucked in air but the sliver of paper fell from my lips. I could feel my cheeks go hot and I knew they were bright red. He leaned into the middle of the circle to grab the bottle of whatever liquor was in the middle. He took a swig from the bottle and passed it to me. The clear liquid tasted like strawberries and burned as it ran down my throat. It was sweet but sour at the same time and it made my heart race. I don’t remember why I ever gave up alcohol in the first place.

because you have no self-control.

I reminded myself. But the thought was pushed away as soon as Niall’s lips met my own. His mouth tasted like the strawberry drink and cigarettes. It was an odd mixture but rather good at the same time.

I could feel emerald eyes watching me closely from behind. Two can play this game.

I laced my hand through Niall’s hair on the back of his head, pulling him closer. I opened my mouth and let him take over. He was obviously shocked by this action, but he took it.
