The Weekend

[Chapter 4]

"No more hiding this it's time for her to know."

Walking in the cool night air Solana hugged herself trying to warm up. She blew out the smoke she had inhaled from the blunt that she had previously lit earlier.

Coming close to Misty's apartment building she saw that August had already beat her here.

Taking another deep breath she knocked on the door. Sure enough misty answered the door .
"Hey Lana , come in it's freezing out here." Misty offered.

Stepping inside she closed the door behind her behind her making her way to the living area.

She just looked at August before looking back at her sister.
Clearing her throat she began to speak." well Misty i know my choices may change the way you look at me and this was wrong on both of our behaves." Solana started .

She closed her eyes before just blurting it all out at once." Me and august had an affair and i was pregnant by him ....im sorry i never meant to hurt you ....i understand if you don't want to be around me or ever speak to me again...i was very inconsiderate of your feelings." she said before looking misty in her eyes trying to read her emotions.

A tear slipped from her eye before she quickly wiped it ." How long has this been going on?" she asked pointing between the two as they looked at each other.

" Ummm its been about 6 months ...and honestly i haven't been the only one he has been messing around with...you know your Bestfriend Kalia... Her too, i was only the weekend." solana stated exposing August.

He just sat there quietly, he didn't know what to say. Misty soon got his attention when she slapped him .

" boy you let down...i am so confused... I stood right by your side through everything that you went through." Misty soon began to started going crazy.

" Solana how could you do this i thought you out of all people wouldn't hurt or disappoint me , remember when we promised  each other that?"

Misty just shook her head in hurt, anger, and disappointment.

As the guilt began to set in Solana stood to her feet heading towards the exit of her sister's apartment.

"Im sorry ... And august i don't think that we should continue what we had going on." solana said before she walked out of the house

One weeks later

Its been a week since Solana has seen or spoken to both Misty and August, she knew that she had to cut all ties with August because she already knew that if she didn't she would have to deal with the resentment from her sister .

Solana walked out into the humid night air , leaving from her job at the office.Quickly she dashes to the car putting her bags on the passengers side , she got inside the car.

She felt like She was being watched , and she felt there presence.

She just ignored it. She pulled out of the parking lot making her way to her house.

As she grabbed her purse , phone and her other belongings, she made her way up to her front door.

As she approached the door there stood him."August what do you want leave me alone."

solana spoke in a agitated tone. Before she could open door he pulled her back , pushing her inside the wall.

"I cant just leave you alone like that i know that this." he pointed between them." was wrong , but i cant just stop seeing you...I've been going crazy for the past two weeks that i haven't seen you..im not saying that we will be together i just want us to talk and at least be friends ."

Solana just looked into his eyes she could tell that they both wanted each other but the pain and hatred that they both held in their hearts towards each other wasn't going to let them .

Solana had hate towards August because he left her, running away from his problems, and he had hate towards her because of the the lost of their child and her ending their relationship due to her sister's feelings .

He grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes before saying"i know this may not be my place..but i got something i should say to you."

Continued to look at him as he spook to her."sometimes im in a different space but that don't change the way i feel for you ."

he spoke as he wiped the the tear that had escaped from her eyelids.

"I gotta lot go on inside my mind ....don't think for a minute that imma fool i don't know what i would do if i loose you." As it felt like he was staring into her soul, his eyes began to water too.

"You need someone who will be there to hold you .. I don't think its fair what i do ...hope you know that ill will always be here when you need me , but what i gotta say isn't easy."

August then paused , looked away and then back at Solana.

"If you gotta leave ..girl i won't stop you so do what you gotta.. I don't want you to go...but i gotta few things in life that  i gotta do...im not tell you to wait , but I'm hoping that you wait." kissing her forehead , august embraced her into a hug . Before letting her go he kissed her one again before walking away.

August broke things off with solana....

Its okay though i got it !
