Flower Crown

Chapter 3

Hey guys this is the third part in this story! Prepare for extreme Jasper/Jiper fluff!

Ps: this part will be a bit longer than the others

I walked over to Jason and the log and sat down next to him. " Is this it?" I asked " Nope, just wait until the sun rises" He said, as he looked over at me with his icy blue eyes.

For a few moments we sat in silence, just enjoying each other's company, until I began to shiver. I crossed my arms and held them tight against my body, still shivering " Do you want my sweatshirt?" He asked me, with a look of concern in his eyes. " Y-Yes please" I said.

He took of his sweatshirt and handed it to me, revealing his purple SPQR shirt underneath. I took it gratefully, slipped it over my head, and snuggled into it. It was still warm and it smelled like fresh laundry and... Well.. like Jason.

I sighed, enjoying the warmth and the comforting smell when I noticed him staring at me from the corner of my eye. I looked over at him questioningly, he looked away and blushed. I smirked and scooted closer to him, leaning up against his shoulder. He relaxed and put his arm around me

" When is the sun going to rise?" I whined, picking some of the light blue flowers at my feet and beginning to weave. " Soon, maybe in about ten minutes." Jason said and he squeezed my shoulders. " So, um.." he continued " I got and Iris message from Reyna."

I immediately tensed " What did she say?"

"There's an emergency over at Camp Jupiter, I'll have to leave soon." He replied sadly " I can only stay for about a day or so."

"Awww, can you at least stay until tomorrow at sundown?" I pleaded " Mayb-" I cut him off "Please!!"

I didn't realize I was using charm-speak until Jason's eyes glazed over. " Oh." I said, covering my mouth with my hand " Sorry Jason." He shook his head slightly " Its fine. I'll stay until next sundown." He said.

"Yay!" I exclaimed and looked down at what my hands had been weaving with the flowers. It was a flower crown. Juniper had taught me how to make one last Wednesday when Jason was hanging out with Leo.

I stared at it for a bit, then turned to Jason and plopped it on his head. It was practically made for him, it fit him perfectly like all his other clothes, and the light blue color of the flowers went with his eyes.

" Hey, thanks." He said, looking up at it as he patted it gently. I smiled and leaned back against him.

After what seemed like forever, Jason finally said something " So Pipes." He said.

" Mmm hmmm" I said, with my eyes closed still contentedly leaned up against his warm body.

" Before I leave tomorrow," he continued " Would you like to go to this café in New York where I used to go with Thalia with me?"

My eyes snapped open. " Umm.. it's okay if you have other things to do but.." he said warily

" No! Of course I'll go with you silly!" I was internally screaming as I said this. Our first real date!! I tried not to squeal like a fan girl. " We would have to ask Chiron first though." He said

" That's fine by me!" I said, still content and now very excited for tomorrow. I had that warm fuzzy feeling running through my body.

" Whoa.." murmured Jason. I looked up to see the most beautiful sunrise. The clouds were an orange color that could only be described as sunrise, the horizon faded into a rainbow of soft colors, and the area surrounding the sun was pastel yellow and crimson.

We stared at the sunrise. Warmth washed over me and I leaned into Jason, not taking my eyes of the sunrise. His grip on my shoulders tightened ever so slightly that it truly made me feel safe, I was with him, I was in paradise.

We both sat there for a long time, not saying a word, for no words were needed. I never wanted this moment to end, it was my little piece of heaven. "Hey, Pipes" he said softly " Yeah" I murmured

" I love you"
" love you to, J"

And his soft lips met mine as we sat there in the warmth of the sunrise. The flower crown I made him still sat on his blonde hair. I loved him, he loved me, that was all that mattered.
