Your P.o.V.
I made sure I had all his information put into his contact. Name, check. Last name, check. Profile picture? Nope. I set his picture as a puppy. I giggled and sent him a message
You: Hello Rick!
I waited, hoping he would respond.
Rick's P.o.V.
I was working on a robot, using one hand to tighten a screw, the other holding my flask. I heard a beep from my phone and I put down the screw, picking up the phone. I looked at it, a bit confused. I don't usually get messages unless it's some Dick-Rick from the Citadel.
Her: Hello Rick!
It's a message from (Y/N)!
You: Hello (Y/N). How are you?
I waited anxiously for a response, although I didn't know why.
Her: I am quite well... I'm extremely tired though.
You:Why don't you go to sleep then?
Her: I don't know... I might, but I'm going to find my (Favorite Animal) plush first. I get lonely without it.
You: Oh? Maybe I could help with that.
Her: what, my loneliness?
I paused, quickly racking my mind for a response.
You: Sure.
I grabbed my portal gun and shot a portal that would lead onto her doorstep. I walked through and knocked on her door. I waited a bit, looking around while my foot tapped. I heard the doorknob twist and my heart did a weird thing... dunno what it was, when she opened the door. Her (H/L) (H/C) waved a bit as the door pushed some wind into it. I pushed past her, stepping in her home. There were still some boxes packed up in the living room. "So, yea w-uurrp-want some help unpa-uuuurp-cking?" I looked at her and saw she looked pretty tired. Hmm.. she yawned and shrugged "Maybe tomorrow... I'm tired as hell." She dragged herself over to the staircase and walked to a room that had a/an (F/C) door. I followed after her and saw that she had multiple boxes opened and it looked like she was trying to find something.. her stuffed animal! That's what she's looking for. I picked her up and plopped her on her bed, patting her head as I would to Morty when I would put him to bed when he was younger. She looked at me, her face somewhat red. "What is uuurp-it?" I laugh, beginning to look through a box that had seemingly not been open for her (F/Animal). I saw something fluffy and picked it up, seeing that it was her stuffed animal. "This what you're-uuurp- looking for?" I show it to her, a small smirk playing at my lips. She nods rapidly, reaching out for it with her hands like a small child. I laugh and toss it to her, watching her hug it close. "Thanks so much Rick! I never thought about looking in that box." She smiled sheepishly, still hugging the plush. She's so cute! Wait Rick what are you thinking!! I'm thinking that she's cute and that I might li- don't finish that sentence. Love is just a chemical, remember? Yeah yeah whatever.
I growled under my breath while arguing with myself.

Your P.o.V.
I watched Rick, still hugging (F/Animal's name), as he growled quietly. "Rick? You alright?" My heart fluttered as I asked him this. "-uuurp- yeah, I'm g-great." He said, seemingly holding something back. I shrugged it off, scooted over a bit, and patted the spot next to me. He raised a side of his unibrow, looking at the spot, then at me. "What?" "Sit next to me!" I giggled.
He paused for a moment, then awkwardly shuffled and sat down. "S-so what do we do now?" He asked, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. What is he doing! Not that I don't like it... I leaned into his embrace, blushing softly. He was surprisingly warm and I enjoyed it quite a lot. "Th-this o-uuurp-kay?" "Yeah.. it's comfortable!" I felt him relax resting his head on mine. My eyes got heavy and I began to fall asleep.
Rick's P.o.V.
She fell asleep- damn. Now I have to stay here all night. I groaned quietly, letting out a heavy sigh. What is this feeling? I haven't felt it with.. Unity? Diane? But I was married to Diane and I dated Unity... I can't feel the same way about a random girl I just met! Well.. not just. I sighed again, closing my eyes. Maybe, just maybe... I let myself sleep peacefully for the first time in a while.
