Kiara
It was a Friday evening after school. I spent the whole day with Alex and Jacob. We sat in Alex's room passing around a blunt of kush bumping "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" by Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony. Hey, it was the quickest stress relief we all knew.
"Come on Alex, pass the blunt," I whined. Alex puffed the blunt, and passed it to me. I pulled off the joint hard, coughing hard. "You can't handle it," Jacob laughed. I flipped him off, hitting the blunt again. "Don't be stingy Kiara, pass it!" Alex squealed. I threw up my index finger, hitting the blunt one good time then passing it to Alex.
"So, how's life going now that Chresanto has a girlfriend now?" Jacob asked. I threw my hand up. "Don't even think mentioning that shit, hear me? Tryna ruin my fucking high or not?" I scolded. He threw his hands up in surrender. I sighed, and that's when I felt a sudden big side cramp. "Damn," I groaned, massaging my side. "What's wrong guh?" Alex slurred. "Lay your ass down somewhere, shit!" I scolded. I've always been a person who can keep my character, or should I say sober, even when I'm stoned or intoxicated. "Okay," Alex laughed, laying down.
"What's the attitude for Kiara?" Jacob retorted. I shot him an evil glare. "You know what, there isn't shit wrong with me, fucker!" I yelled. "Yes there is." Jacob plainly said. I laid down, and placed a pillow over my face. "You ruined my high Jacob."
"Me, how I ruin your high?" Jacob exclaimed. I groaned, as I fell asleep on Alex's bed.
I woke up three hours later. Alex and Jacob both were passed out asleep. I chuckled going to the restroom. I used the restroom then went to look for snacks to satisfy my hunger. Luckily, I found a box full of debbie cakes on the table. Brownies with candies.
"This is heaven," I chanted, breaking the box open. "Ms Kiara, you're opening my box of brownies, aren't you?" Ms. Amiah, Alex's mom exclaimed. I quickly put the box down. "Sorry momma My," I looked down. She laughed to herself. "You can have some, I can see you're real hungry," she handed three brownies. "Thank you momma My," I pecked her cheek and speed walked to Alex's room. I heard my phone ring. It was my mom.
"Yes mommy?" I answered. "Hey, in a few minutes I'll be there so be ready," my mom said quickly. "Okay." I said. She hung up. I slid on my shoes, and grabbed my purse making sure everything was in it. I wrote a quick note telling Alex and Jacob that I was leaving and stuck it on Alex's forehead. My mom tooted the horn twice and I shot out of Alex's room.
"Gotta go now momma My, bye," I pecked her cheek and jogged out to my mom's car. I got in and she waved goodbye to Ms. Amiah while talking on the telephone then drove off. She conversated the whole way home. We pulled up to the house, and I entered the house eating my third brownie. Chresanto and his little girlfriend was making out on the couch but seperated when I came into the house. I made a disguisted face, and went into my room. Soon, Dezhae, Chresanto's girlfriend came knocking on my door. I swung the door open.
"Yes?" I asked. "Yeah, I don't like the way you mean mugged Chres and I," she snarled. "Okay hun, this is my home I can mean mug whoever I please," I scowled back at her. She sucked her teeth, and walked away. I sucked my teeth and slammed my door. I flopped on my bed, and flipped on my TV like usual. Nothing was on. I turned the TV off, and plugged my iPhone into my iHome bumping more Bone Thugs n Harmony. I really like those dudes. They can really rap. I rapped along to "Thuggish-Ruggish-Bone" as the song played. Suddenly, I felt a big nauseous feeling in my stomach. I jogged to the hallway bathroom and threw up.
"Kiara, you okay?" Chresanto asked. I slammed the door shut with my foot. I groaned and flushed the toillet. I brushed my teeth, and gargled my throat. As I went to my bedroom, everything felt as if the world was rotating hard and fast. I stammered into my room, laying on my bed. Next thing I know I see all black.
