The five days passed with unbearable slowness; it consisted of waking up aroused, clawing at the sheets and mattress for a good hour, Natasha bringing you meals you barely touched, hopping into a cold shower, going back to clawing at the bed, and going to sleep aroused. Loki's voice never returned, not even once, and that frustrated you. Was it just a trick to make you even more miserable? He was very cold hearted after all-from the stories you had heard at least-and he adored manipulating people. Perhaps that was his game, getting you aroused beyond comprehension just so you would sleep with him. What a sick joke.

On the sixth day you woke up with a sigh of sweet relief, your skin was cool to the touch and you weren't rutting against a pillow. (The fourth night was eventful as you had woken up to find yourself swiveling your hips along the pillow you had held to your chest). You sat up and stretched, then hopped out of bed to receive your rightfully earned warm shower. Once freshly washed you dressed then made your way to the kitchen. The tower was unusually empty, not a soul was in sight. You looked to the fridge to see a note stuck to it with a Hello Kitty magnet so you removed it and read:

'The team and I went out on a quick errand, just a routine Hydra ass kicking. Help yourself to some left over spaghetti in the fridge.
Hugs and tickles
~ Tony'

You chuckled and pinned the note back to the fridge then opened it up to indeed find left over spaghetti on the top shelf. You would save that for lunch. Grabbing the milk and shutting the fridge door with your hip you made your way to the cabinet to look through Tony's many assortment of cereals. Seriously, the guy's kitchen was a whole supermarket. You grabbed a plastic bowl then stood on your tippy toes to try and reach (your favorite cereal) which always seemed to be put back onto the top shelf. You would have to remind yourself later to ask Tony for a step stool. After a minute of stretching and hopping trying to grab the box you huffed in frustration and set your hands on your hips, neither hearing the light steps that had entered the kitchen nor the chuckle.

"Need a little help there darling~?"

You jumped and immediately whipped around at the sound of his voice, still as deep and silken as you remembered it. He stood in the entrance of the kitchen, dressed in a sleek black suit that seemed rather fitting. He was no casual dresser apparently. Loki stared at you with half lidded eyes, like a predator knowing it had caught its prey off guard, and that the prey wasn't going to escape. A smirk slowly grew on his face as he watched your cheeks turn a deep shade of pink, and your eyes dart immediately to the tile floor submissively.

"How-How did you know I was here?" You whispered, barely audible to yourself. Loki stepped towards you making you back up against the counter, the marble poking at your spine. He looked at you with hungry eyes and a sickly sweet smile, laying one arm against the counter right next to your hip.

"My dear, I could smell you all the way from the elevator." Loki purred. At the mention of scent you immediately inhaled to find yourself enveloped in his own aroma. He smelled of earth and crisp cold air and. . .something you could not quite place. A scent that had you clenching your thighs together for fear he would catch your growing arousal, but by the way his smirk grew you knew it was too late.

Trying to remain calm and pull yourself together you lifted your chin to make eye contact with those two pools of glowing emerald. "You aren't supposed to be down here." You said sternly which made Loki laugh deep in his throat.

"The others are not here, so I felt it safe to emerge from my little prison. And low and behold they leave such a fine little pet behind all for me. Tell me dove, do you still crave me?" And just like that he had you right back to a melted pool of arousal. A small whimper escaped your throat as Loki buried his nose underneath your ear, slowly trailing down to your scent gland. "By the nine you smell delectable. I wish to sink my teeth into you right here right now. Would you like that darling? Me biting this pretty neck of yours so you are covered in my mark? By what I'm smelling you obviously do."

Words escaped you, all you could feel was his cool lips trailing the skin of your neck so lightly it drove you crazy. A soft purr sounded from your throat and Loki's grip on the counter tightened, a low growl humming against your neck. You shivered uncontrollably as you were caged between his arms and the counter. His scent was overwhelming you. The logical part of your brain wasn't working as primal need enveloped your thoughts of 'Stop. This is wrong.' You were about to give in. Give in to the starved need of intimacy and rough animalistic sex to sate the burning fire inside of you, until Loki was ripped away from you and you could finally breathe again.

Bewildered, you looked to see Bucky Barnes with his forearm to Loki's chest and a knife at his pale neck, sapphire eyes burning with protective fire as the metal plates in his arm whirred in irritation. The room was still and silent as the two Alphas stared each other down, green eyes against blue, until Loki glanced away, giving up his dominance. Bucky let the god go and flipped his knife, slipping it back into his pocket before turning to you and taking you by the elbow. "Stark assigned me to look after you while the team is out. I didn't expect you up this early." You shivered at the power and dominance radiating off of him, one day after your heat and you felt like you were about to plunge back into it.

At the sight of Bucky touching you Loki stiffened, a low growl emanating from deep in his throat as his eyes burned in fury but he was shot down again by the growl Bucky gave him. A growl that meant 'You better leave now before you regret standing against me.' Loki gave one last huff and swiftly left the room, leaving you and Sergeant Barnes alone. You looked up at him, seeing him staring at the doorway to make sure the god had left for good before turning to you with a soft expression, letting go of your arm.

"I'm sorry I didn't come sooner. I should have expected he'd try to get to you." Bucky said with a gentle voice.

You blushed at the kindness and softness he was showing you. Usually the Alpha's were domineering and held a certain. . .powerfulness to them even when they were not asserting themselves. Bucky held his hands behind his back, shifting his weight from foot to foot like an awkward child. He kept glancing at you nervously before looking back to the floor, and you were completely stunned by this demeanor.

"O-Oh it's okay. I didn't think he'd get to me at all. Thank you for stepping in. You saved me from making a huge mistake." You gave him a shy smile which he returned, tucking some hair behind his ear.

"I'm supposed to stay with you to make sure you're okay, but if you don't want me up your ass all day I completely understand."

You laughed, shaking your head. "Don't be silly, I'd love the company. I spent almost a week alone in my room, having you around is a blessing." Bucky blushed, giving you another shy smile as you went back to fixing your cereal. You stopped for a moment, turning back to him. "While you're here, can you grab me that box of cereal?"
