Hello everyone, first of all I want to thank you for reading this story. I am working on a larger project but before I can give it my all I would like to improve my writing skills. English is also not my native language and I am dyslectic so all tips and advise are welcome! It would be a wonderful if you could leave some supportive criticism, thank you in advance.
The story itself is entirely my own. I own the characters and the world. If there would be any similarities between other universes or characters it will be purely circumstantial.
I also want to explain the world a little as this is a prequel of some sorts (the big series I am still writing, this is to train my English and writing skills)
· The world is high fantasy and other world fantasy
· The world has two 'dominant' species
- Humans
- Chimaerae, plr (chimaera sgl) (were human once but evolved, they have animal features and the families are classified in animal famillias (You will get it when you read it)
· There are 3 types of magic
- Personal magic (Every Chimerae has some form of magic that only he or she has, some are very mundane others lean more towards what we call magic)
- The shift (Chimaerae are shape shifters. They can shift between human and animal features. The average Chimaera has three different shifts.)
- The universal magic (the world also contains magic. You don't have to be a magic wielder to be able to use it.)
The chimaera all have the same amount of power. If their shift is stronger their personal magic will be less so and vice versa.
