Francis is really sick and tired of being called a rapist or pervert by everyone he knows and by those he's recent met for two reasons. He's met rape victims personally and just can't imagine putting someone through that kind of pain. Also he's just a country that likes to express his love to people and other countries since his meaning of 'everlasting love' has been twisted around. He's been through so many wars and tragedies yet still mana to fall in love over and over again. When Joan died, after being forced to watch her burn at the cross, he's been after that same 'everlasting love' feeling in someone else. He still has yet to find it.
