Words...

Words to conceal my pain. You are so cleverly hidden beneath smiles. I am a master artist to paint them so real. Does no one see the counterfeit? I guess I am a master chef to spice my words with innocent, care free laughter. People love the dish of my hidden turmoil.

Words...

Why do you leave me empty? My peers are rich and full of you. Why then am I so hollow? Do you exist only for their benefit when I'm the one who made you? Do you only have the power to conceal? Can you not relieve my pain?

They say the truth will set you free but my words of truth taste bitter. After the delicacy of my laughter who will take my tears?

Words...

Can you really pour fourth light strong enough to undo the spell of your own shadow? If I open my lips and speak honestly what will people see?

Me.

(when asked what saved her she simply wrote, "words.")
