THE DOLL THAT CAME TO HARTSVILLE

NIGHT IN THE TOWN

Dust and despair filled the town  . Nothing but darkness can be seen from miles . Everyone follows the rules in Hartsville . Not one soul dared  to stay up past their "bed time". Not even for a midnight snack . I was surrounded by rocks in a desolate area . My heart beating out my chest . This can get me killed ... this can get my family killed I repeated to my self  . I tried not to think about it. Knowing the truth of the situation can only make it worst . I duck and dive trying to avoid the police on the streets and the sentinels in the sky . ( Sentinels are android powered robots used to fly around the sky to seek out any one who dared to disobey the laws  and terminate them.)
As I collect my thoughts I realized I had no real purpose to be out tonight. No real motives at all. What was I trying to prove ? I start to walk on the rumbles of the rocks  but to no avail I trip and fall. Hurting my butt . Fuck it moms not here . As I hurt my ass an my whole leg is slit open . "SHIT". I hear my voice mumble . All of sudden from the cracks I see light . Not in a good way either . Their are police sirens and Sentinels  repeating the word " terminate , terminate ". Holy hell I have to get the fuck out of here and fast . Before I know it something grabs me as I try to run . I panic having a flashback of my Home, my friends , my school , my family , my life .. . Something calls out to me . "MELANIE.. DO YOU WANT TO PLAY?". Desperate for answers but more afraid to be caught I try and try to kick the very essence of whatever was grabbing my leg . Cries of a 4th grader could be heard in the asleep town of Hartsville. Before I know it something knocks me out cold and all I remember is the echoes of sirens, the voice of sentinels and girl roughly my age dragging me down a empty dark tunnel of death.
