Humans we are emotional and social beings. We crave social interaction it drives our emotions. We have reasoning and logic it drives us to create and combined with emotion we are given the gift of inspiration. Without reason and logic we are nothing but animals, beasts chained to survival we are not truly alive because survival and living are two
separate things that contradict each other and will only impede the other. The same can be said about lacking emotion, without emotion we cannot truly live because emotion gives life purpose. Purpose like a dream born from inspiration or love for another person. But if logic out weighs emotion we become machines that are driven by efficiency, we lack passion that gives our work purpose there's no goal, no enjoyment, no happiness, and without those things life is meaningless and we are left with nothing. We aren't human, we're animals, we're machines.
