Although you were close friends with the trash mouth, you couldn't help but start to question your feelings towards him. His personality, his looks, his jokes, his attitude. His traits and looks made you fall for him. Hard. Your parent's being friends with his parent's didn't help. You were constantly stuck together since they were also very close friends too.

Your parents were out of town to attend a long time family wedding and you were stuck with Richie and his parents for three or so days. His parents where never home, so it was always you and Richie. It was your last day staying with Richie and you dreaded going home. Sure, you slept in the guest room, but you secretly wanted to sleep and cuddle in Richie's bed.

You rested your head against the bathroom wall, sighing, while brushing your teeth. You just ate breakfast alone seeing as Richie hadn't gotten up. It was a Saturday morning, almost 9:00AM. Days like these, Richie would basically hibernate till Monday morning.

As you finished rinsing your mouth, you walked into the kitchen to make Richie's breakfast, or maybe even dinner if he ever even wakes up.

What surprised you was Richie eating his cereal while watching television. The television displayed of no colour, only black and white, yet the images of cartoons showed. The sound was lowered to a minimum volume, low enough to not wake his parents up. Or that's what you thought, but his parents were actually at work.

"Hey" You mumbled, sitting down at the opposite seat of him, putting your arms onto the table. Richie looked at you, smiling. His glasses were on the table next to him, still wearing his night attire.

"Hey [Y/N]!" He spoke cheerily. There was calm silence, before Richie broke it.

"When are your parents picking you up?" Richie took another bite from his cereal. You shrugged, eyes still glued at the T.V. Richie looked at you, furrowing his eyebrows. It was odd for you not to reply, seeing as you would talk every second and would pester him with random small talk.

Richie finished up his cereal and put his bowl in the sink. You walked up the stairs and into the room you occupied, packing up the things and fixing up everything to make the room nice and neat like the way it was before you stayed.

Richie's room was next to you, your beds so close to each other that you could hear Richie's loud snoring.

As you exited the room, you were pulled into Richie's room. You yelped, tripping over your legs and onto the floor. You made a weird noise, something in between a groan, sneeze, and trying to attack the predator.

The door clicked, indicating the door was lock. You looked up, Richie facing the door before whipping behind him to look at you.

"What are you doing, Richie?" You stood up and sat on his messy and unmade bed. His room smelt of his cheap cologne and sweat.

"No, what are YOU doing? You've been acting weird ever since three days ago!" He yelled, making weird gestures, stepping closer and closer to you. Now you knew, your crush on Richie began to become bigger and bigger, and you absolutely hated it.
