A girl is seen praying in temple
Her lips didn't curve into smile
Her eyes were longing for someone
She completed her prayers

The girl is going towards a big house in North Kolkata
Suddenly her foot gets injured due to a glass piece
Blood starts coming out

Scene shifts to that same dark room where the boy sitting held his foot tightly as if felt some pain
Tears were flowing from his eyes
Some light spread on his face
We can see a boy in his early 20s
His eyes showing immense pain

The girl entered the house the cleaning the blood
She went in front of a photo hung in her house with a garland which the girl removed
The photo was of same boy who was in that dark room

The girl turned and we see her face
She's none other than Naira
But where's her smile

She shouted at the servants for placing over Kartik's photo

Yes the boy was none other than Karthik

A lady in her late 40s came and told Naira that it was she who placed garland on his son's photo

She was Swarna Basu

Naira told her that her Kartik is alive and she has come to know where he is

It was heard by one more person who was intentionally hearing the convo

Swarna asked Naira where his son is??

Naira informed her that Kartik is in Kolkata only and she will get him back here before Swarna's birthday that was after one month on 24 August
Naira went to her room or instead his room which was soon going to be there room
The room was filled with their childhood photos and some recent photos
In those photos they were smiling and laughing

Where those laughs went??? Why was kartik in a dark room???
